As long as Jim Zorn is the HC, I, and I would hope most fans be behind him. Although I am not a fan of his work and what he has done here, he is still our coach. Although firing a HC mid season isn't a good idea, our situation calls for change. The lack of a sense of urgency is what is killing this team. I personally don't think Jim Zorn stands a chance at finishing the season due to the way Dan Snyder deals with HC's in the past that aren't named Joe Gibbs.

By the way I am new here!

Welcome to the board brah...

Sorry we couldn't meet under better circumstances.

Is Snyder really the media whore everyone claims him to be? I'd imagine he would be more like Jerry Jones if he was [a media whore].

I think Russ Grimm should be the next head coach, if Zorn is fired. We need a fresh start. Tired of old recycled coaches. We need new front office personnel as well that know what they are doing.

I really don't see the fascination with Russ Grimm. Loved him as a player, but we'd be trading an unknown, unproven head coach for another.

It's time to let go of the Glory Days -- it's like writing checks on a bank account that has long since closed.

Its hard to get more fresh than Zorn was when he was hired.

I think Zorn will finish out the season and depending on how the team finishes he might just stay. If they finish 4-12 then he's gone, 8-8 he stays. This team just doesnt have the talent on O so I really dont think any coach could come in here and do much better with what he'd have to work with.

I agree, Zorn is not the fault but it seems he will unfortunately be the scapegoat. I hope Gibbs told Danny boy to keep patient, not to keep Zorn, but to prevent the image of DC remaining as an unstable coaching destination.

They should run one on Vinny and Blache.

They don't need to. We all know that poll would say 100%.

Come on dude. He's head and shoulders better than Zorn. He's been coaching offensive lines for over ten years. And been an assistant head coach for.....................6 years or so. Unlike Zorn, all of this has been at the pro level. And look what he did to the Steelers offensive line when he was there. He had those guys playing smash mouth ball better than anyone in the league. He goes to Arizona, who had a horrendous line, and turns them around into one of the better lines in the league. Warner got killed in St. Louis, but he has time to throw in Arizona. You know why? Because of Russ baby! Bring in Russ!

I don't get it either. Plus he's had a few interviews for HC jobs where he was less than impressive, reportedly.
