Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Panthers)53Fan 10-11-2009, 10:34 PM Haha for some reason i thought GF was your grandfather :laughing2 That would be weird for him to say that. Dude i'm a skins fan, a screw must be loose somewhere GMScud 10-11-2009, 10:36 PM Everyone else seem to forget about D. Thomas; he dropped the ball right when the ball hit him into his hand.. If he caught that ball, we more likely would have won the game.. Yup. He's worth a finger point for sure. Our 3 "redshirt" pass catchers have been a gigantic disappointment. However who knows what their numbers look like if we have a half decent line? 53Fan 10-11-2009, 10:37 PM I agree. I'd like to see Grimm paired with a good personnel guy. The big name guys may lack the hunger that Grimm might bring. He could be the Offensive version of Mike Singletary, and he's got GLORY DAY REDSKIN DNA coursing through his veins. He would excite the "base" like no other. It's a Danny Boy cream his pants, wet dream special. Marketing glitz with actual results to go along with it. Good points Deezel. He might be agreeable to drafting some o-linemen too. :) WaldSkins 10-11-2009, 10:38 PM Yup. He's worth a finger point for sure. Our 3 "redshirt" pass catchers have been a gigantic disappointment. Thomas; he dropped the ball right when the ball hit him into his hand.. If he caught that ball, we more likely would have won the game.. No diggity. Inexcusable. BUT, the Skins should be able to score TDs without the Defense giving them the ball on the 40 and 1 foot line, right? Is at least 1 long drive against an 0-3 team too much to ask? BTW, the G-men put up 44 on the Bucs. That is how bad we are. So what if DT catches that ball? Maybe we win, maybe we lose. Either way, we still blow chunks. I've put the Smackdown on marriage for awhile. :) 44Deezel 10-11-2009, 10:48 PM Good points Deezel. He might be agreeable to drafting some o-linemen too. :) Bet your ass he would. He knows the Skins Super Bowl teams won because of dominant O line play, good Defenses and whoever the hell they had available to suit up at QB, RB and WR. With the exception of the 1982 team. Riggins, of course, consumed the Dolphins with firebolts from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse.:headbange GMScud 10-11-2009, 10:49 PM Bet your ass he would.
