Well take a look at who their offensive coordinator is

Yeah good to see Dan Henning still calling plays. The man knows how to coach.

I can't believe how well Miami runs the wildcat. I know a lot of people hate the wildcat but based on what I've seen tonight it's here to stay.
who thought that we'd still be seeing ricky williams play?

The Dolphins are a fantastically coached team.

I know right? It's pretty cool to watch actually. Their offensive playcalling was out of this world tonight. My goodness.

Three things struck me from tonight's game:

*How both organizations have developed their young QBs. And not only with these two teams, but around the league. Both Sanchez and Henne look like they're the future of their respective franchises. Chad Henne threaded a couple of sick throws. Just sick.

*The coaching and execution on both sides were very evident. Not a bunch of penalties or mental errors and great all around play calling. I can't really say either guy was outcoached, but the Dolphins just outplayed the Jets when it counted.

*The Jets have fifteen first round draft picks on their roster. What, fifteen first round picks! The impact of a credible GM can't be overstated. Along those same lines, and no pun intended, it's worth noting that Brick Ferguson and Jake Long are both first round draft picks and were killing it tonight. Just saying.

Talk about coming back from the dead...

The Redskins should take a play from the Jets and Dolphins, as each team has used a first rounder in a tackle (Ferguson for the Jets and Long for Miami).

My goodness. It's got to take three or four offensive assistants thinking on the same page to be able to execute an offense like the Dolphins. We have one guy, who sometimes confuses himself.

And both the fans and owners willing to go through a couple of bad seasons for the sake of rebuilding.

Does Pennington have a shoulder to throw though? That would not be a bad idea if it meant getting o-lineman with the first and second rounders, and a LB with the third...knowing our team though they'll prob get a LB with the first rounder.Pennington is actually a great vertical thrower, historically. He just tends to prefer to underthrow the deep fade rather than lauch it out in front. He can't make that throw to Ginn, but he's the kind of quarterback who can make Malcolm Kelly a star, and possibly Santana Moss relevant again.

And not only can't he make that throw to Ginn, but he can't make that throw where he rolled out near the end zone. I believe it was to #83. He zipped it. That was a big time NFL throw.
