I totally agree. We do have some talented young players, all they need is an opportunity. Watching last night's game seeing so many young players making pays had me asking myself why can't the Redskins do that?

Braylon Edwards has only been with the Jets five days, scored two touchdowns on the kind of plays we should be running to our receivers Mitchell & Kelly. It's difficult for me to understand why our young players do not get more of a chance to show what they can do. We also need for the QB to be unafraid to give his receivers a chance to make a play.

JC went deep to Kelly in the Tampa game and Kelly was 1on1. Kelly did not fight for the ball and the Bucs picked it off. In the Panthers game he went deep to DT the boss hit his hands but he could not hold on. DT did lay out but it was a tough catch. Big time players make that catch.

OMG! That article in your sig describes my feelings in the most exact way possible.

"The only thing [Dan Snyder] can do to help [his] team at this point is to walk in front of an oncoming cement mixer. Way to ruin everything, shithead. DIE." ... and that's about the only way the Skins will get better. The other ways would be to substitute the cement mixer for some other piece of heavy machinery.

Wow tell us how you really feel about Dan Synder.
We may not like the way he runs the Redskins but this may be a little to much from intelligent fans.

Joe Bugel if your the GURU everyone says you are than we should be okay with moving
Heyer LT, Mike Willaims RT and Rhinehart or Montgomery to RG. We have a week to get them up to speed. We better hope no other Lineman go down or we are up a creek without a boat.

Has Bugel lost it? Or did the stars just align at the right time for him to look like a Oline Mastermind? I know Bugel is near and dear to us but it seems lately the product he is fielding is lacking and it makes you wonder when other teams can have injuries along their line and rooks/2nd stringers step in to keep it going and we cant.

I just have a hard time believing DS is the boy in the plastic bubble. He does not read the papers? He does not listen to the radio? He owns a sports franchise and he doesn't watch ESPN? I would hate to think he has so secluded himself from society that he has no clue that the fans are pissed, that everyone to include fans, media, and any prospect HC's don't like Vinny cause he's an not that great at what he's supposed to be doing. DS has to know by now that in order to get the HC talent he wants Vinny must go and he needs to take a back seat approach.

It's not that Snyder has no clue that the fans are pissed and think Vinny is a retard. He's just so incredibly arrogant that he'd believe the entire world was wrong before ever questioning himself. So that's basically it -- hundreds of thousands of people can see the problem, but that doesn't mean squat to Snyder. He's right and everyone else is wrong.

If we dont draft Oline this next draft ill FKN SCREAM.
Its sad to see a team like Miami who went 1-15 push the jets defense all over the field 2 seasons later. I couldnt believe the physical lineplay they showed in that game vs a good front 7.

Of course I don't really wish death upon him. That was pretty much a metaphor for how screwed we are. Our problem is the owner -- who's unwilling to change -- and, since he'll never sell the team, we're f*cked until he dies. Prepare yourself for at least another 30 years of garbage.

My animosity towards Snyder is two-fold:

1.) I know Snyder "bought" the team, but IMO he doesn't "own" it -- he just gets to collect the profits. He has no right to do what he's done, which is destroy OUR team -- one of the oldest franchises in NFL history. I equate it to somebody buying the Statue of Liberty and dismantling it.

2.) Humility is kind of a big deal to me, and Dan Snyder has none. I have no respect for people like him, and very little tolerance. No humble person would ignore the opinions of experts for 10 years unless they thought they knew better. Snyder obviously thinks he knows more than the experts, which is to say that Snyder thinks he knows more about football than everyone. There isn't a SINGLE person in football who understands our situation and would support the decisions Snyder has made. Yet, Snyder hasn't changed his attitude -- he just changed the facade and thinks we're stupid enough to be fooled by it.

I don't think Boss Hog has lost it. He just doesn't have enough talent to work with.

Compare in your mind the current crop of OL to these guys: Original Hogs Russ Grimm, Joe Jacoby, Mark May, Jeff Bostic, and George Starke (Papa Hog). Add to that Raleigh McKenzie, Mark Schlereth and Jim Lachey, TE's Don Warren and Rick Walker (both original Hogs), and RB John Riggins (Honorary Hog). Well, it just makes you long for the good old days when we had Bobby Beathard as our GM, doesn't it?

This post is spot on. Snyder is the current steward of the franchise and as such, can reap the profits, but he doesn't truly OWN the team. The team belongs to the tens of thousands of Redskins fans out there. Past, present, and future.

We can only hope that something happens, on the field or in his life, that finally opens his eyes to reality.
