I realize that the O-line needs help first, but what about throwing a 2nd-rounder to the Rams for Steven Jackson?
He and Portis would be a great tandem and Jackson will be here after Portis is finished.
Who's going to block for them? Steven Jackson? Isn't he just as old as Portis? You know we have 5 RBs on the squad already? How about saving picks for the O-line? Is that you Vinny?

Exactly. For once we're going to have to play the cards we're dealt and address this during the offseason. Of course like most Skins fans I have a glimmer of hope, but realistically this season is probably done and it saddens me to say it. You are right stay up and rebuild in the spring in the draft!

He is currently a back-up, but is starter quality and we could get him for a good deal. I would like to see the skins make a smart move and make some progress so the next season isn't wasted.

I would be interested in seeing what they want for him. 5 year vet with good size and some pass rushing moves. I would prefer to trade players instead of draft picks. They're not too happy with Glenn Dorsey, maybe they would have some interest in Anthony Montgomery?
