What position to draft for next season?skinsfanthru&thru 10-13-2004, 07:01 PM anyone know what year reggie bush of USC is in? cuz that guy is a constant playmaker. itvnetop 10-13-2004, 07:09 PM skinsfan... i'm glad someone recognizes bush. he's a sophomore, so he's here at SC for at least another year. I'm sure he's going to leave after his third year. Our O-coordinator visited Martz over the summer to discuss how the Rams found ways to get the ball more to Faulk- as you've seen this year, Chow has gotten Bush the ball in a number of ways. I know it's tough to talk about future drafts (and hopefully in two years we're not so bad that we're picking high), but if bush is there when we select we take him regardless of need. He's not just a normal running back- he can split wide and burn most secondaries as well. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 10-14-2004, 09:34 PM It's too early but what the hell: BIG NEED Defensive End Defensive Tackle Center Strong Safety Tight End NO NEED Wideout Running Back Linebacker Cornerback I'm a guy who strongly believes in getting whoever is the "best" for the pick, (almost) irrespective of the position. If all the players were equal in talent, ability, drive, etc. I'd like to see the following order: 1. Defensive End or Tackle 2. None - Traded to New Orleans 3. Center 4. Strong Safety 5. Tight End 6. Developmental 7. Developmental Free Agency A Defensive Tackle or End That Guy 10-15-2004, 02:22 AM i'd be looking for a guard too... but i'll go ahead and watch the chicago game for how dockery is doing to make sure... i don't think raymer has looked that bad, unlike LF. CRT3 10-15-2004, 08:50 AM The way things are going and if Gibbs does not turn things around we might end up in the top 5. I would not be opposed to drafting Mike Williams. Gives us trade flexibility with giving up Jacobs, Gardner or even Coles. This guy would be to good to pass on. Also a quarterback as Brunnel is not looking hot Redskins_P 10-15-2004, 08:56 AM Sorry guys, but I can't believe this thread is still going. Can we just concentrate on winning some games this season before we pack it up and get ready for next April? MTK 10-15-2004, 10:44 AM Sorry guys, but I can't believe this thread is still going. Can we just concentrate on winning some games this season before we pack it up and get ready for next April? I totally agree. We'll have plenty of time for this after the season, but if this is your thing carry on. jrocx69 10-16-2004, 03:31 PM many people arent reading what i posted, ITS NOT GIVING UP ON THE SEASON!! its simply playing a game we love, predicting the draft is a fun game to play all year around for me especially. so chill the F out :) ZackMills 10-16-2004, 03:37 PM since we are gonna have a really high pick, lets trade it and get more picks! BrudLee 10-17-2004, 07:37 AM Here's my choice: 1st round: Punter - Tupa can't last forever. 2nd round: traded 3rd round: Punter - much needed depth 4th round: Punter - can we say training camp battle? 5th round: Punter - let them winnow themselves out - survival of the fittest. 6th round: Kicker - unless a good punter is still on the board. 7th round: Punter - I don't want a Punter controversy entering the regular season, but we can't take chances. Unless an obvious pick-for-punter trade is on the board that would be a significant upgrade, I'd stay with the youth punter movement. |
