No problem with being positive, it is better than being stuck negative. I won't lose all hope til the 1-2 weeks after the bye. Marty turned it around after the bye in 2000, so maybe Zorn can. Thing is Marty was a HOF coach like coach Gibbs and had a stronger team depth wise in my opinion. Marty could run the ball with the guys he had and made good use of them. Coach Zorn doesn't have the right guys for what he wants to do. Not only that, but they are playing at a subpar level from what was expected of them from us fans during the offseason which makes the situation look even the more dire.

What kind of players does Zorn need to succeed?

Discuss.

The offensive line is going to play much better this week.
Last week 2 guys were playing out of position Batiste and Williams.
Now Heyer moves to LT a position he's played well in the past.
Williams goes from RG to his natural position as RT
Montgomery goes to the RG spot where he was backup 2A with Rhinehart who was playing well prior to his shoulder injury.

Now where will this improved OL play lead?

I think Zorn will stick to the running game until the bitter end.
Hopefully we'll be able to find some running lanes.
If we don't find running lanes Zorn will just keep calling run plays.
Then mix in some play action.
I expect alot of I-form.

If we're losing Zorn will turn to the passing game in the second half and we'll move the ball.

I want to see Zorn come out passing.
I want to see JC in shotgun early and passing on 1st down.
I want to see 3-4-5 receivers sets with some quick passing.
Pass to set up the run.

Man I sure hope Heyer has a hell of a game Sunday. If not will see the same as last week JC picking himself off the ground.

They couldn't be playing a better opponent. Hopefully, they can use this game as a confidence builder.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Campbell doesn't get sacked once.

Cassell has thrown 100 straight passes with out a pick and has 7 TD's wouldnt it be nice to break that little positive thing they got going.

Skins lose 13-10

wow Matty,Im shocked by this, for you to predict we'll lose to an 0-5 chiefs team really shows how far we've sunk.Weve had our disagreements in the past about the state of this team but I could always count on you to be positive,so for you to predict us to lose to this shitty ass team makes me think even the most faithful have come to the conclusion that we really really suck.
I for some reason have a good feeling about this game,I think we win and its not that close.Dont have a prediction for the final score, but i dont think its going to be a nailbiter. If we lose this game there is absolutely no help for us this season,we have a good chance of getting a top 3 pick in the draft

Rinehart Questionable for Sunday

The Redskins have added guard Chad Rinehart (shoulder) to their injury report and listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs at FedEx Field.

With backup guard-center Will Mongomery scheduled to start at right guard, rookie center-guard Edwin Williams could be active this week. The Redskins plan to bring in linemen to audition for the practice squad, Coach Jim Zorn said.
