I don't have a problem with looking for Zorn's replacement during the season. It shouldn't necessarily be up to Snyder to do that, and it definitely shouldn't be Shanahan. Great offensive playcaller...but we really don't want him here as the head of personnel. We really don't...do we?

This is old news. It was rumored that Napoleon approached Shanahoverated who said piss off you are a joke.

This wasn't surprising to anyone when it was just a rumor..

I think they were trying to figure out a way to bring in Cutler and Shanahan as a package deal. Ha.

At the end of the day it is what it is...and Shanahan most likely will be our GM/President/Head Coach (unless Dallas or San Diego comes in with a better offer)...and I personally don't think that will help us all that much.

I don't think at this point it would matter who our coach is .Unless they find a player coach that can play guard or tackle really well.

Hey Steve, Who do you think will be next redskins coach? Shanahan or Gruden?

Steve Wyche, NFL.com
Oumar, I don't think it will be either one. When it all shakes out, I think Washington will end up with a hot coordinator or young coach. I'm sure owner Dan Snyder will pursue a big name and of them all, I think Mike Holmgren would be the front-runner, but there could be a lot of other, less chaotic situations for places like those established coaches to land: San Diego, Dallas and Carolina, among them -- should those teams not make the playoffs.
