Its a collection of reasons really, everyone from the owner on down to the players are to blame.
We have players who probably arent the best fit for the WCO. Dont try to put square pegs into round holes. rule 1
We always go after players who succeeded in different schemes and try to force them to do well in ours.
Need to draft better and keep our picks. draft by NEED,not the "sexy" pick.
We dont really have a leader on offense. Which is needed.
DS tries, ill give him that. He doesnt make the best decisions in hindsight but i cant remember complaining about a recent move he made. I remember driving home from work and hearing we got jason Taylor, i was excited. ofcourse now it was a bad idea.
I was pumped when we got Big Al, he is doing what we brought him in for. Ask Carter and the other Dlinemen if they are glad to have him.
Spurrier, at the time there was a line of owners who have been trying to lure him out of the college ranks for yrs. DS got him and it failed. win some you lose some. Some guys are just better suited for the college game.
I know this is just a long list, ive been up for 20 hrs so my mind is jello right now.
It could be worse, we could be like the Bucs were when they were millions under the cap and losing.

Well Tampa has won a Super Bowl more resent than the Redskins have. Tampa are wishing now that they kept Tony Dungy. I do think the entire Redskins organization has to take blame for our losing ways. The coaches coach and the players play. The F/O aquires the players that are suppose to fit the scheme the coaches teach. This is not working some heads must roll now.

I am convinced that unless and until we get a qualified GM who has the final say on personnel it will just be more of the same around here. Wake me up if and when this ever happens.

Remember folks -- when the league goes uncapped, there will be fewer FAs, not more. Each team gets an additional tag to hold on to players so they can keep players much easier.

While this is true, those who are FAs will have their agents busting down Snyder's door, knowing that the man will show them the money. So while there are less FAs to choose from, if Snyder is still willing to open the checkbook, the cream of the crop so to speak should be here.

That's the true reality of the situation at this point in time. Anything less is just another exercise in futility and pointless speculation.

That's what I was saying.

That's true but most of those guys will be over-the-hill overpriced plugs. If we don't draft Ts and Gs to go with them, then it will be same as now.

They're so many areas that need to be addressed, especially on the O line. We're going to have to look at the FA market in addition to the draft. The major problem with the FO (and we all know this) is that they scout FA names rather than talent. Our next FA pick ups have to be young up and coming players. I would be shocked if the Redskins FO actually scouted though. We'll probably end up with Brandon Marshall or worse, T.O.!
