Going in late won't hurt the owner. SolidSnake84 10-30-2009, 04:06 PM I hope this whole "consultant" thing isn't taking the league by storm. First us, then Cleveland...i wonder which bad team is next. Poor coaches who have to worry about a "consultant" breathing down their neck.... munny 10-30-2009, 04:09 PM @skinsfanatic -- The thing is, this is something people might actually do. People who buy $9 beers are going to keep doing it. I won't give them a penny but most are not deterred. Sitting 5 minutes out is achievable for a big crowd though and it makes a public statement. @buster -- I think it does hurt him. It adds further embarrassment and draws continued bad attention and press. Hell, his little censorship bit will probably have more fans show up just to taunt him, but a message still gets sent. In the end, we are really powerless in general, so it is all a symbolic thing anyway. Monkeydad 11-02-2009, 11:59 AM @skinsfanatic -- The thing is, this is something people might actually do. Further bad press and embarrassment can't really make a difference to Browns ownership, they should be used to it. :D With that said, the Brownies shut down Jay Cutler this week! freddyg12 11-02-2009, 02:54 PM doesn't this happen every at the beginning of every game at fedex field while people are stuck in traffic or in concession lines? |
