I think Kevin Barnes is expected to be activated for Sunday's game and I think I heard Rinehart is starting this Sunday but don't quote me on that. I may have heard wrongIf we're going to blow this thing up after the season, we may as well figure whom among our youngsters can play in this league.

This is a move made by a "personnel department" who passed on Michael Oher in the draft in April - - Oher has been starting at OT for the Ravens this year - - and on Phil Loadholt - - Loadholt has been starting at OT for the Vikings all year.
Loadholt (from Oklahoma) was a 5th round pick in April so the Skins' braintrust "missed" on him more than once. Which hero was the Skins' fifth round pick this year? Has he started every game at offensive RT? I don't think so...

Loadholt was (still) a second round pick, and we may or may not have been high on him. Given that we had no second round pick, we'll never know. Certainly, he hasn't been more productive than Orakpo, so if the argument is that we shouldn't have traded a first day pick for Jason Taylor, well, I'm the choir.
Just pointing out that the Bills, who could have taken Oher before we had a shot at him, decided that AARON MAYBIN was a can't miss player. If the Skins are inept first round drafters, what does that make the Broncos, Bills, Jaguars, Raiders, Bengals, Jets, Rams, and Lions, all of whom have gotten basically no return on their first round investments as rookies?
It means the Ravens are ahead of the curve of course, but what else is new?

I still don't understand folks that are still crying over 2nd, 3rd, 4th rounders we didn't pick up. Shoot, we picked a 3rd rounder last year and they jury is still out.

GTripp:
Thanks for the correction. Loadholt was indeed a 2nd round pick. I confused him with his "running buddy" at Oklahoma, Duke Robinson, who was a 5th round pick.
