Too much internal conflict and everyone talking to the media. There is a clear lack of discipline and that starts with the HC. It seems like you think the Skins are structured like a regular team with the HC in charge and his word is law, it isnt. Zorn never was in charge of the team, DS is. That's the reason for the lack of discipline & conflicts. The players know the HC isnt in charge and has no power so they know they can do what they want without repurcussions, as long as they are buddies with DS. The team will continue to be a mess as long as the HC is powerless and a select few star players only answer to the owner. JoeRedskin 11-05-2009, 12:36 PM Vinny is in charge of this team - He gives the marching orders to Zorn. I don't think DS comes up with these ideas but rather listens to Cerrato's advice and says "okay, you're in charge do what you think is best". He's Wormtongue. You know this is true....how? irish 11-05-2009, 12:54 PM You know this is true....how? Uh, by watching. Its not difficult to see. The organization has undermined Zorn's authority almost from the minute he came onboard as HC. ashvirtually 11-05-2009, 01:15 PM Vinny is in charge of this team - He gives the marching orders to Zorn. Exactly what are you "watching" that serves as first hand knowledge of what is happening behind the scenes of this Mega-corp. It's not hard to speculate It's not hard to assume It's not hard to hyperbole Actual....good info is another matter. I have NO problem hanging DS's ass out to dry for his product on the field. It IS his team. Beyond that I have read nothing on this site that makes me think anybody here has first hand info of all the speculated BS going on behind the scenes. CRedskinsRule 11-05-2009, 01:52 PM Uh, by watching. Its not difficult to see. The organization has undermined Zorn's authority almost from the minute he came onboard as HC. How? I will grant you that for this season, but how did they undermine him last season??? GoSkins! 11-05-2009, 01:57 PM It seems like you think the Skins are structured like a regular team with the HC in charge and his word is law, it isnt. Zorn never was in charge of the team, DS is. I think that is part of it, but the other part is that Zorn let way to much time go by before he took any responsibility, publicly, for the teams performance. Blanche finally had to do it before Zorn got a clue. Constantly calling out players for "not executing" and not putting the blame on your self (like Gibbs did) wore on the players. It had to, it wore on me. If you can't criticize yourself, you shouldn't criticize your players... unless you have earned the right by consistenly winning. |
