AYJAX 11-18-2009, 12:49 AM I chose Portis on this one. I am a big believer in "you don't practice you don't play". GMScud 11-18-2009, 01:32 AM Why isn't there an all option!? :( LOL, that's the first thing I thought when I opened this thread. I voted Rogers because SmootSmack asked for raw emotion, and he's pissed me off the most lately (Rogers, not SS). I'd love to be finished with Portis like yesterday. Seriously, that guy could never put on a Skins jersey again and I wouldn't bat an eye. He's done a ton for this franchise, but he's so done. Football is brutal business. I've pissed you off the second most, right? :) You know it's not too far from possible that Portis is done simply because his concussions are apparently a very serious deal I think my vote is going to go to Moss GMScud 11-18-2009, 01:47 AM I've pissed you off the second most, right? :) You know it's not too far from possible that Portis is done simply because his concussions are apparently a very serious deal I think my vote is going to go to Moss I hadn't read that. Has he had multiple concussions? That dude's body has taken such a pounding over the years. He could hang it up now and still probably have major issues later in life as a result of his football career. djnemo65 11-18-2009, 02:16 AM Portis. Him and I are so finished. GridIron26 11-18-2009, 02:26 AM Let's face it, Campbell and Portis will probably be back. But I'm so done with Santana Moss. For a couple of reasons. First, where in the heck has he been this season? When he's hot he's hot and when he's not he's not. There's no in between with this guy. I friggin hate that. He never has a quiet 7 or 8 reception game. He never throws that key downfield block. I've never seen him recover a costly fumble made by another player. He rarely stretches for a first down to keep a drive alive. It's fifty yard bombs or nothing with Moss. This offense isn't designed to live that way. Secondly, I feel once he's gone the organization will stop leaning on him and sink or swim with Thomas and Kelly. We need to fully commit to them. Sometimes other guys won't produce until you get rid of the dead weight. I don't think Moss is holding them back, but I would like to see Devin and Malcolm starting accross from each other, no questions asked. Trade Moss, do whatever but I'm so done with him. This probably would do us good; although I would want to keep Moss, and have Moss and Randle El share the slot duty load.. Use Moss when it's bomb play, if it's not, then use Randle El.. I chose Portis on this one. I am a big believer in "you don't practice you don't play". I agree with this, as well! But given his relationship with Snyder, we can't let him go, just not yet.. But coaches would be just doing their duties if they decide to demote Portis to like passing situations and little running? saden1 11-18-2009, 02:44 AM Let's face it, Campbell and Portis will probably be back. Don't forget dropping of easy catches. A #1 WR that can't catch the ball when it matters is a #3 receiver at best. I'm still pissed about that perfect ball in the endzone against the Eagles he dropped. I'm so done seeing him get mad at himself for dropping a ball. rbanerjee23 11-18-2009, 02:44 AM Im so tired of ... laron landry, what happened to this guy, he was supposed to be the next beastly safety now he just misses tackles, doesn't get interceptions and gets burned next. Even more so than the others on that list, Landry has been the biggest disappointment to me. saden1 11-18-2009, 02:49 AM Laron Landry does a lot of things on the field that doesn't show up on tape but of late his play has been erratic. Out of the players in the poll he's the least I am done with. |
