It's not widely reported because it's boring.

It's not widely reported because it's boring.

I dont know how boring it could be compared to the rest of the monotonous crap you see on MSNBC, ABC and CNN from 5-8pm. Fox News channel decided to report it and they are the dominate News provided for the age 25-54 demographic. If they can vastly beat out the competition by reporting these issues I don’t get why other networks cant follow suite.

I mean Obama is visiting the Copenhagen for the Climate Summit and they cant mention it? Just seems like poor journalism to me.

Didnt ski resorts in Co have their earliest openings ever -or in a long time- this year? Sorry if you posted this in a link but i didnt go through them so if you did just overlook this post.

Making any kind of assumptions based on one, two, or even ten years is ridiculous, especially in a specific region.

I always find it absurd when it's a particularly cold winter and people are like, "oh ... so much for global warming." The real things to study are average global temperature and concentration of certain gasses within the entire global climate.

Problem is these things are extremely difficult to reach conclusive evidence on, and doing so is theoretical at best. It's kind of a shame that much of the science community has become so politicized because it's killed much of the credibility of the overall scientific community.

Here's an interesting read:

The SuperFreakonomics Global-Warming Fact Quiz - Freakonomics Blog - NYTimes.com (http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/23/the-superfreakonomics-global-warming-fact-quiz/)

(by the way, superfreakonomics is a pretty good read...check it out)

It doesn't take a genius to know that you're all god damn filthy polluters and eco-system killers (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/10/13/ap/cabstatepent/main5382492.shtml). What do I know though, I'm just a liberal tree hugger who can't see "conservative facts."
That link is pretty usless now that we know that the data has been twisted to meet their needs.

Really? Thanks for clarifying, I wasn't sure the same team has been putting out all the research used by every geo-scientist.

I hear you piss in the sea when you go fishing...what impact do you think that has on the environment?

agreI think we all know that most rational people e Global Warming is at best a scheme Al Gore has created to achieve notoriety (seeing failed presidential bid, and claim to have created the internet), but for obvious fraud to have occurred and major news networks to not report it is ridiculous:

"An examination of morning and evening news programs on ABC, CBS and NBC since Nov. 20 yielded zero mentions of the scandal, even in the Nov. 25 reports about Obama going to Copenhagen to discuss the need for emissions reductions," the Institute reported Wednesday (http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2009/20091202135822.aspx).
But during that time, the Institute says, "the networks reported on pro-golfer Tiger Woods' 'minor' car accident at least 37 times. They also found time to report on an orphaned Moose and the meal selection at the president’s State Dinner."
Media Research Center President Brent Bozell reacted to the findings saying, "To pretend this story simply doesn’t exist is damning to journalism."

Comedy Central Scoops Network News on Climate-Gate Scandal - Science News | Science & Technology | Technology News - FOXNews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,578990,00.html)

Obama science advisers grilled over hacked e-mails - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/sci_climate_hearing)
this is a ridiculous statement

well if i'm fishing i'm probably on a boat, and if i'm on a boat i'm probably drinking, so i probably don't care what impact it has on the enviornment, but i will say i do recycle instead of sinkin em, cause littering causes global warming

All I know is that since the beginning of industrial revolution all these man made polutants rising up into the ozone and the atmosphere cant be good for the planet. Just like all the poluntants flowing into the Cheasepeake bay is not good for water life. Is it to the extent of the warming the Earth that the left is wanting you to believe, probably not. But say in 500 to a thousand years from now if the pace continues there will probably be very negative effects. Over population will probably be a relative issue as well in this country in the next 200 years. I think advances in technology will help, but if we start now trying to make changes now it cant hurt, can it?
