Its a program for called up reservist and I'm not sure how they get paid when called up to active duty.

They get paid the same as Active Duty when they get activated.

You know how it is man, if you're E1, E2, E3, you're making shit money. Not sure if they base this off of salary including or excluding all of the allowances that don't get taxed. Plus the special combat/hazardous duty pays... they may not factor that into the equation.

unless the pay sscale has changed in the past few years a 11 month deployment to iraq will land an e4 around $25-$30k, that includes combat/living/tax free

I would have to see the breakdown BB and mlm before I pass judgement. Generally speaking though, Active Duty pay should be greater than Sears pay, but probably isn't in alot of cases.

I think a lot of Sear's sales staff do pretty well actually.

I think a lot of Sear's sales staff do pretty well actually.
At one time working for Sears was a career and not just a prat time job. Back in the 80's when places like Wal Mart started hiring part time people it pu places like Sears at a big disavantage because they had mostly fulltime emp with good benefits. Over the years they have had to switch over to hiring part time workers with little to no benefits so they could compete with places like Wal Mart. If your in managment you do pretty good but other then that its not what it use to be. I don't blame Sears because if you remember bach in the 80's they almost went under because they could not compete. The same thing also happened with JC Penny's and other large stores.
