Kearse's rookie NFL record 14.5 sacks ... hopefully he gets that many against homo alone but he does have a serious chance to break that record and end up with 16 sacks this year, this is if ah is back though, haven't seen him at any wizards game recently so hopefully he'll play this week Lotus 12-15-2009, 08:34 PM Hopefully when he is not a rookie he'll start to really rush the passer. CRedskinsRule 12-16-2009, 12:07 PM I don't see anything on NFL.com but this is Moselys report: Redskins' Orakpo honored by league - NFC East Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/8350/redskins-orakpo-honored-by-league) Redskins outside linebacker Brian Orakpo has been named NFC defensive player of the week for his performance in the Redskins' 34-13 win over Oakland on Sunday. Orakpo finished with four sacks, a forced fumble and six tackles in the game, tying a Redskins record in the process. Only Ken Harvey, Dexter Manley, Diron Talbert and Phillip Daniels have had four sacks in a game. And since the NFL began tracking yards lost on sacks, Orakpo's 44 yards are the highest. MTK 12-16-2009, 12:15 PM Wow, great honor for Rak. He's going to be scary good next year. |
