I love it! We got about two feet out here (about an hour west of DC). It just stopped snowing.

Just got done about 2 hours ago. We shoveled my inlaws place (They don't own a snowblower), and i used a snowblower at our house and at my parents house.

It's snowed 22 inches here so far and it is calling for up to 5 more tonight....

if you think you had to shovel think again

Redskins will remove 25 million pounds of snow | ProFootballTalk.com (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/12/19/redskins-will-remove-25-million-pounds-of-snow-1/)

One of the comments on that PFT post was hilarious: "They'd be better served by removing 180 lbs of team owner." LMAO

We've got 20+ inches on the ground here in Chevy Chase/DC. Pretty unreal. My fiancee and I ventured out earlier and walked around taking pictures. Pretty awesome snow. She's lived in Florida for 25 of her 27 years. She's never seen anything close to this. Definitely a memorable day.

Man I started theis thread at 8:30 am and I now just came in from shoveling. I help everyone in my hood.

Funny thing happens every time it snows. My next door neighbor is a 60 year old lady, she comes out every time with like a teaspoon to shovel, always shows up when i start shoveling. I am always like Deb need some help, she always says oh no I am fine. This goes on for about a good .5 hour with lots of grunting on her part. Finally she always gives in and lets me due it. Comically happens nearly every time.

I also drove around for a bit helping pull folks out with my 4Runner. I grew up in NE I love snow!

I feel the pain with the shoveling...here in Columbia, MD we've gotten easily 2-feet of snow. I've gone out twice today and it's still freaking snowing.

What do you guys do in the snow for fun?

Last week, I drove 2.5 hours so I could go snowboarding in slushy man made snow...

BTW, Todays High in San Diego was 77 Degrees with a low of 61.

I got up this morning and did my driveway. Figured I'd rather do two half loads than one big load. IT WAS A LOT OF FUCKING SNOW. Curse word needed. Jesus Christ. I have a pretty inclined driveway so it caught a good amount of drift. The bottom half(45-50 feet) was probably 24". The top half was a cinch at maybe 12"16". There's another 8" out there on it now. I am in no hurry since I doubt I can get out of my neighborhood anyways. At least I won't be shoveling over 30" tomorrow. The funny thing was that barely anyone else was shoveling. I kept thinking. "i have to be one the better in shape people in this neighborhood and I am getting killed out here" What are people gonna do tomorrow when they go to shovel 3 feet? I see dead people.

The entire natural-bred Great Lakes Redskins chapter (i.e. me) says: suck it up! It's just a few lousy feet!

But seriously, drive extra safely, because your road crews have no idea what to do with themselves. You don't want to be in the hospital when we're putting a beatdown on the G-Men.
