There's a lot more than 10 I'd keep but many of them would not be in the same roles. Like Moss...if I have to keep him at WR1 go ahead and move him to my 10 I'd cut list. If I can switch him to slot then he can play for me. Williams and Jones...they'd be fine as backup linemen to me.

This is possibly the most depressing thread in the history of my time here.

It is just such a clear indicator of how bad it is.

We have a few young keepers, but it's fugly ugly when you look at it this way.

Campbell, I think you'd be justified in leaving him off this list. But I think just having Snyder NOT nosing around for a quarterback would be worth it's weight in gold to the rebuilding process.

Keeping Jones because I wanted one tackle. But realistically I probably take Jarmon ahead of him, or Haynesworth (if I didn't have him on my list already)

Depending on where we draft I want Campbell to return as our starter. And even if we do bring him back as the starter, I'd still want to get a good young backup

This move would get multiple thumbs up for me, if only for it's value to actually having depth at the QB position.

We probably could open this one up to more than ten guys. It's not that I want to get rid of Devin Thomas or Malcolm Kelly (or Anthony Montgomery, or Chris Wilson, or Chris Horton, or Marko Mitchell), but they certainly haven't shown enough to waste one of ten spots on.

Cooley
Davis
Orakpo
Fletcher
Haynesworth
Hall
McIntosh
Thomas
Carter
Campbell (only because I hate our other options at QB for next year)

I would second this.

Landry (If we move back to SS he would be okay)
Horton
Flecther
Rogers (If he would quit biting on the double moves he would be okay)

I think what you heard was that Kiper said he sees McCoy as a 2nd round pick, who he compares to Jake Plummer. And Plummer had some great years under Shanahan. But that's not the same as Colt is being targeted by Shanahan in the 2nd round.

Mr. Allen is keeping:
Marko Mitchell
Quinton Ganther
Marcus Mason
Devin Thomas
Fred Davis
Chris Cooley
Levi Jones
Jeremy Jarmon
Chase Daniel
Jason Campbell for a two year extension. and still draft a QB in the second round.
