If u think he is than your qb credibility is insane! I said let's see what he does next year. Some folks here were saying they would rather take him instead of jc. All I was saying is that seems a little crazy..I think Schaub is more established than someone like Aaron Rodgers or Joe Flacco. I think he's more productive in the historical (not 2009) sense. I would say Schaub is great, with the cavioat that if you were to remove him from the creativity of the Texans offense, his physical tools (or lack thereof) might limit him in another offense. Basically, don't mess with his success. SmootSmack 01-05-2010, 06:58 AM Kyle Shanahan was teammates with Derrick Dockery and Mike Williams at Texas which is kind of interesting Landry44 01-05-2010, 10:11 AM I never said I didn't like schaub lol he is not GREAT.. Schaub isn't great by any means Andre Johnson. dmek25 01-06-2010, 03:24 PM thought this was interesting, and a good thing if it happens... http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...oss-in-DC.html Kyle Shanahan is bolting the Houston Texans to reunite with his father as the offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins. Don’t be surprised if Alex Gibbs is not far behind him. Gibbs, who has served as the assistant head coach for the Texans for the last two seasons, might be following in the footsteps of another offensive line guru in Joe Bugel, who has retired after three decades in the business, most with the Redskins. Mike Shanahan is putting the old gang back together, and he and Gibbs have a long tradition of working with one another. Mike Shanahan will be introduced at a press conference at Redskins Park in just a little more than a half-hour. Keep an eye on Gibbs, a league insider tells the National Football Post. Zerohero 01-06-2010, 03:29 PM ^ hey if the texans could why can't we? Schaub isn't great by any means He is pretty good. Not the strongest arm but very accurate. rbanerjee23 01-06-2010, 03:46 PM Yea Most ppl here think 20 td's is an amazing year(JC FANS). Campbell had a great year for his standards but if you ask 32 teams in the league, I bet only a handful would say he is a starter in the NFL. I Just think with a better QB we could have been a little better, I understand our line is horrible but JC has limitations for an offense. His horrible accuracy will never get better, and his decision making lacks at crucial times in games. His accuracy is 10th best in the league, better than all the other QBs in the NFC East. I am not saying by any means that he is anywhere near one of the best QBs in the league but to say his accuracy is 'horrible' is simply untrue Longtimefan 01-06-2010, 03:53 PM Do for our offense what he's done with the Texans, they have what the third ranked offense in the league? If he can accomplish that feat here he will be more than a welcomed addition. Hope not, i hate alex gibbs and the way he coaches the o line to play. It's effective, but dirty as hell. |
