Look for the Ravens to only get better in the years ahead. Zorn will likely take Flacco to the next level, and that offense was already making strides.

Monkeydad 02-01-2010, 11:19 AM JZ's a good dude...happy for him and his family Doesn't have to move AT ALL. :D Congrats and good luck Coach Zorn, this job will be a much better fit for you. CRedskinsRule 05-07-2010, 10:43 AM Baltimore is feeling Zorn's glow: Ravens' biggest offseason addition might be Zorn - baltimoresun.com (http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-zorn-0507-20100506,0,271240.story?page=1&utm_medium=feed&track=rss&utm_campaign=Feed%3A%20baltimoresun%2Fsports%2Ffoo tball%2Frss2%20%28%20Ravens%2FFootball%29&utm_source=feedburner) Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron called Zorn "the premier quarterback coach in the NFL for the last 15 years." Ravens Super Bowl-winning quarterback Trent Dilfer proclaimed him "the Butch Harmon of quarterbacks coaches," referring to the renowned golf instructor who served as Tiger Woods' longtime coach. but Zorn is staying humble "I'm not God's gift to coaching," Zorn said. "I have to earn the right to be heard. I have to say things that they'll believe." I do find that quote absolutely hilarious though! 53Fan 05-07-2010, 10:52 AM "I'm not God's gift to coaching," Zorn said. You're not?! JZ is a nice guy and a good QB coach. He was just in a little over his head here as far as being a HC. joethiesmanfan 05-07-2010, 10:55 AM Baltimore is feeling Zorn's glow: Ravens' biggest offseason addition might be Zorn - baltimoresun.com (http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-zorn-0507-20100506,0,271240.story?page=1&utm_medium=feed&track=rss&utm_campaign=Feed%3A%20baltimoresun%2Fsports%2Ffoo tball%2Frss2%20%28%20Ravens%2FFootball%29&utm_source=feedburner) but Zorn is staying humble I do find that quote absolutely hilarious though! I'm feeling Zorny. skinsfan69 05-07-2010, 12:28 PM Very funny that the last two people that ran our offenses, Zorn and Saunders are now working in Baltimore. I bet those two have already shared some funny stories. skinsfan69 05-07-2010, 12:35 PM Don't forget all the wild success Saunders has had since he escaped having JC of his QB. I haven't checked, but I can only assume he's won like five super bowls since then. Well first of all he hasn't had a OC job since he left here. Saunders is a proven guy. KC had a top 5 offense when he coached there. He just didn't have the personel to run his offense while in Washington. GTripp0012 05-07-2010, 12:41 PM He was the OC in St. Louis in 2008. That Rams team put up 232 points, or about 2/3 of those underachievers on the 2007 Redskins (334), and about 4/5 as many as that "west coast" Redskins offense of 08 (265). skinsfan69 05-07-2010, 01:02 PM He was the OC in St. Louis in 2008. FRPLG 05-07-2010, 01:08 PM well i don't think it matters who was running the rams offense the last few years. I think his point was that Al hasn't proved much anywhere with any personnel anytime recently. |
