They shouldn't touch this guy. Whether or not you think HGH and steroids are good or bad they're illegal in the NFL. And so are a lot of the things that are sold over the counter. Bringing Romo on board is just asking for trouble since he abused the system his entire career. They should just let him get his feet wet somewhere else.

Did anyone else hear the interview with Romanowski on The Herd about a year ago? He still thinks steroids/HGH are such a good thing that EVERYONE, not just athletes should use them! It wasnt too long after the "60 Minutes" thing, and Cowherd was obviously asking questions to give Romo a chance to say "steroids are bad, and I was wrong," but Romo gave just the opposite responses. It was so ridiculous, Cowherd had to just end the interview, very awkwardly.
Shanny is throwing his old buddy a bone with the job interview, that's all.
Well one could argue he's right. If you're an ADULT and know what you're doing then I really don't see a problem using if you're trying to improve self image/confidence.

I think that's the plan skinsfan
I wonder if the UFL would take him in
Something that I wouldn't mind if it happened would be to cut him a check as a consultant in order for him to recommend somebody to us if we liked his presentation. He can come in and do a workshop or three, but not be permanent staff.

Just what we need, an admitted roid-head as our strength coach.

I'd bring the guy in. They check all the players for roids as it is and if they've stayed clean thus far then why would they jump out there now. Romo for all of his bad decisions using PED's while playing is a nutrion and workout nut and I think that we got rid of our last guy for a reason. Give this guy a shot, or at least as an assistant Strength Coach or something. We say that guys need to be better in the gym why not find someone who knows it like it's their home.

Unconfirmed, but I believe we've hired our strength coach...Ray Wright.
Confirmed that we have our strength coach, not confirmed that it's Wright. I've heard Buddy Morris and Ken Harvey as well

Now that's a former NFL LB I would be happy about hiring.

He's already part of the organization so it's possible he already works out with the guys. I guess you would know that better than me

I might have the wrong former linebacker. Some are saying Ken Harvey, some are saying Eddie Mason. People I trust more are saying Harvey, but that doesn't mean it's him

I had two friends on the strength/conditioning staff, but they were all let go last month by Shanahan/Allen. I never heard them mention Ken Harvey, but next time I talk to either of them I will ask.
