Great thread.

I know I've mentioned in the past here that a big pet peeve of mine is Idiots Who Stop and Stare Stupid. You know what I'm talking about. You're at the shopping mall. Going down the escalator. You get to the bottom...and standing right there is some assclown looking around. Move the eff out the way!

THIS is exactly how my wife and I get super angry when we go grocery shopping. There's this narrow aisle to get to the rest of the groceries just after the carts and people always park their carts and fat asses in front of the bargain bin and sit there where you have to weave around them to get in there.

If the wife and I can help it, we each take one of those hand baskets and even if it means putting like 30 lbs in it, I don't even care. It's worth it.

you might get one, maybe two, free passes. then its a hard shoulder. im 6'2" and 245 lbs. so im not budging
6'2 / 245 .... ladies and gentlemen ... I found our strongside LB ............ hello Mr. Allen , do I get a finders fee ??? I had this problem in the store a few years ago , a guy and women blocking the aisle , so I said excuse me . The guy looked over his shoulder at me .... then turned back and started talking to her , still blocking the aisle . So , I grab his cart and started to walk away with it . He starts yelling " hey ", " hey " what are you doing ???? I just continued to walk , finaly got around to the next aisle and pushed his cart down the aisle . He starts yelling at me to " go get the cart " !! By now , more than a few people are looking at us , so ask him , slowly " sir , are you ok " ? Do you need help ? You need a doctor ?? By that time he realized that everyone now assumed he was crazy .... so I walk past his lady friend and as I pass her I ask , does his wife know you .... he had on a ring , she did not . I was tempted at first to hit the jerk , but I thought this ended up better .

To make things worst are those stupid race car carts. Anyone seen those? They take up so much room. I KNOW my son will want to ride in them when he is older, that should make for a nice fight.

Argh, yes. They have two of those where I go.

Man, I just realized how pissed I am at people today. So we ran out of breakfast food at the house and we always just hit up McDonalds drive-thru before work. If you have an SUV full of little shits ask them what they want before you order. There were easily two cars full of kids and obviously they can't read, so why not find out? We took maybe thirty seconds to order and the SECOND we got to the pick-up window we had our food. These SUVs combined took maybe 15 minutes because of special crap/ordering time for the kids.

I hate people at the grocery store that race around corners with their carts like the Indy 500. Seems like I almost get mowed down every time I go to the store.

OK, so basically this is another thing coming to a head along with my road rage. Most of you know I work in a university (specifically a university where 99% of the students drive cars worth over forty-thousand dollars). So the grounds crew here has just started digging out the snow to where the walkways are maybe 1-2 people across. Just like a two-way highway, I'm walking on the right, and someone is walking towards me on the right.

Lately, these assholes are walking 2-3 people across and just keep on plowing ahead either expecting me to get out of the way rather than get behind each other or just don't give a crap.

I'm someone who doesn't like to cause problems and basically step off the sidewalk into snow so that the BFFs can keep their hands on each other's asses. Yesterday I got so fed up by it that I refused to move and drove a shoulder so hard into a kid he almost fell down and I just kept on walking. Next person who doesn't respect SOME kind of etiquette next time gets head-butted.

I know this sounds bitter, but get into a line if we're passing each other at the same time, THEN you can go back to 2-3 wide again.

That's your solution right there. Unless you're elderly, a female, or a young child, you're gonna hear it (or feel it) from me. People are so clueless and lack etiquette to the point it makes me want to scream. If that makes me an asshole, so be it. Some guy was walking down the narrow sidewalk (only enough width for one person) towards me yesterday during the storm, and he literally didn't break stride and just expected me to step aside into a few feet of snow to make room for him. I didn't budge and he walked into me to the point that his nose was basically in my chest. He gave me this incredulous look and said "EXCUSE me!" I laughed and said "yeah, excuse you is right." He called me a jerk, I called him an entitled piss ant, and we went our separate ways. WTF dude. I'll break your face.

Just a few minutes afterward, another guy comes walking my way, we made eye contact about 10 feet from each other, and we both turned sideways and side stepped by each other politely and exchanged a smile. Now that's what I'm talking about.

hahah I hate this too.. I used to do the whole step to the side thing but fuck that nowadays.. I'll walk right into you, but not before I've been staring at you the whole time for not moving over.. usually the stare or funny look is enough to make them go single file, but the shoulder check is there just in case.. I also do this to people trying to cut through bathroom lines at FedEx or whatever other venue

Oh man this drives me nuts too. Yeah I really don't understand it when people walking towards you don't move aside. If I'm giving you the courtesy, you should do the same.

On the same note I can't stand it when you're in a store or mall and you get stuck behind a family of 4 all walking beside each other hogging the aisle, and of course they're walking super slow and seem to have no clue where they are going. Move the F outta my way!
Oh god.. yeah or when they even fucking see you.. and still don't move.. I've gotten into the habit of moving people's carts for them without saying anything, as long as they don't have their hands on the cart
