I'd vote for all of the above if there was that option. I don't think I've posted much in the locker room at all these last few months because i'm tired out of all the "hot" topics. I feel like whatever happens is going to happen irregardless of all the banter that I may or may not disagree with so there's no point in arguing about it lol.

I vote for the unrealistic trade scenarios. To me thats the worst part of any message board and you see it all over NFL forums, not just ES, WP, and HTTR. You should see some of the wonderful offers for Cooley out there. People are so generously offering cast offs left and right and picks as high as the third round.
Madden is a great tool for learning some basics about football, especially to someone who's never seen the game before but sometimes it gets ridiculous when you consider the type of mindset it's brought to your average forum poster.

Unrealistic trade scenarios.
Seriously how do people just pull these made up, fantastic, trade projections? Trades in the NFL are way too quirky to just pull out of ones ass anyway.
The MO for trade speculation should just be, if you see an article/rumor then feel free to discuss it, otherwise keep your most recent Madden transactions to yourself.

See this is the type of crap I'm talking about. Found this on RI:
But you actually could get a 1st rounder ... maybe more than one for Haynesworth.

Each draft slot is assigned a value. #4 is worth Seattle's two 1st round picks. They want a QB-BRADFORD. They will trade with us to get #4. We take OT Okung and OG Mile Iupati with the 2 picks. We trade Cooley for a mid-high 1st rd pick and we draft OT Trent Williams for the R tackle spot. In free agency sign both RB Chester Taylor and Darren Sproles as the 3rd down back and we give Colt Brennan his chance. With our 2nd round pick, we take a center, Maurkice Pouncey Florida 6-5 318. 4th round, take a backup QB in case Colt doesn't fit. Trade Albert Haynesworth for SF two 1st rd picks and draft S Taylor Mays Southern Cal 6-3 230 4.45 plays like the great Sean Taylor #21 and OT Vladimir Ducasse Massachusetts 6-5 330 for rotation. To fill the hole left with Albert gone, sign free agent NT Vince Wilfork from the Patriots. Albert wasn't the player he should have been. There, with one draft, I have rebuilt this team to be a superbowl team. We end up with 5 first round picks. It's uncapped, we can spend anything we like!
One more thing-don't waste the #4 pick on a hit or miss QB! There is no Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or even dare I say it, Troy Aikman in this draft! Trade the pick and pic up our Oline!
Are you listening Shanny? This is what I would do if I were GM...

I STILL BELIEVE THIS COULD WORK EXCEPT MAYBE "AH". TRADE ANYONE EXCEPT MARKO, ORAKPO, JARMON, AND COLT.

I can see the 'Skins drafting Clausen and making a trade to draft Golden Tate. Of course, if this were to happen they should have hired Charlie Wies to be their Offensive Coordinator.
SS Reed Doughty, Reasonably RFA him or try and trade him, if you can't then you keep him. I like Doughty but we have 3 SS and no FS, we may as well try and move the guy who's on this list.

You can't make this crap up.

I am one who could have easily have said all of the above also. I visit message boards and get the SSDD feeling then I have to check myself. If all I wanted was news then I could visit the official Redskins site, or visit ESPN, or the NFL network. Instead I visit sites like the WP in order to not only read the new news but to be able to comment on it. Thats what message boards are for.
JC- is good and servicable but we need a great QB which I have doubts JC can be.
CP- is a great RB, but age is catching up. Concussion.
CB- I like him and his cockyness, will he ever not be injured and become great?
Unis- Half the people want change, half don't. Whatever happens only half will be happy.
Unrealistic trades- Even though its tiring, People have come up with ideas I never would have thought of. Sometimes I laugh.
All in all I picked JC. After 6 yrs his same issues keep cropping up no matter the support around him or lack there of.

Holy shit @ that 2nd quote Dirtbag
QB talk is always expected, it's tiring but again, expected. By nature the position gets way too much hype and way too much blame.
The CP talk will go away if he produces.
What really grinds my gears though are the wacky trade scenarios. That one posted above by KurtShanaman is so freaking ridiculous and it's exactly what drives me right up the wall.

I went uniforms. Old school NFL franchises like the Redskins should not be making gimmicky uniform changes so the topic annoys me. The Redskins current uniform is perfection...i would rather deal with what's in the uniforms.

I'm sick of it all, but I cannot stop comming here even if only to read. Some days I actually feel myself getting dumber.
