Yep, that's what the article from a week ago said.

What is really surprising about the article is that Westbrook drives a Mercedes. Either his brother bought it for him or football players simply make too much money.

Ahhh just cause he drives a Benz doesn't mean he has got alot of cash.

Used ones don't hold thier value to well and can be picked up at a reasonable price. As a car guy, they aren't exactly the greatest cars in the world either and are purchased more as a status symbol than because of performance.

Sorry to get off on a tangent. Good to see he got off I suppose.

He was out drinking because he realized he will be getting cut after training camp.

Well it all boils down to access. There are some on here who appear to work for networks in some form or fashion. They seem to have good inside info. But to the simpletons, such as myself, who don't want to pay a website for inside info... where do you go?

Yes PFT is not the best and it does seem like its the "Enquirer" of sports info but there is two obvious things
1- Its free!
2- Its updated frequently
3- They atleast have some truth to the stories, usually its the meat and potatoes, but they might not have the full story. and sometimes they have a no hitter just like all the other media outlets.

What good are frequent updates when they're from "unnamed sources"?

PFT is great at collecting links, I don't always care for the commentary they attach to the stories and some of their rumors are sketchy at times.

Also, at this time of year there is not a whole lot of anything happening so PFT gives us fans something to laugh at and talk about.
