And if they're going to go to either one, have enough sense to call the owner and set up a private area and bring some damn security.
Someone did bring protection.... Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. :) I think Buress hired the same guards. lol. sorry.

Often times, when these guys go to nightclubs they come in and out of secret backdoor entrances, escorted into their own VIP section and are surrounded by a select crowd of people.
I used to (well two or three times) organize parties down in DC featuring local athletes. You know, you've seen the fliers. "Come celebrate Chris Samuels' Birthday Live at Club Ego!! Starring Chris Samuels! With special guests Tre Johnson, Shawn Barber, Jerry Stackhouse, Miguel Tejada!!"
Those guys would go straight to a special VIP lounge. They weren't hanging out with Joe Blow out by the bar.
I mean it doesn't always happen that way, but my point is for most athletes going to a nightclub after midnight is often not the same as it is for you and me.
Which is also why I can't understand why they have to carry guns all the time for their protection. They're protected like no one's business
I'm sure some of them want to be seen popping champagne, wearing the bling, profiling. I'm sure that's how Cromartie met all his baby mommas.
On a serious note, this is pretty heavy. I'm sure Marshall blames himself for what happened. this tragedy could've been easily avoided.
the ass who shot and killed D. Williams is an idiot and deserves what he doled out. I'm not really one to throw stones (i've never shot anyone or killed anyone for that matter) because I've been known to chin-check a few from time to time if I've been disrespected, taunted or threatened but there's no excuse to take it that level. Whatever happened to the days when the worst thing that could happen is getting your ass whipped?

The whole situation is horrible. I dont think you can blame marshall for his murder though. No one deserves to lose their life, especially over a drink at the bar. There are so many stupid gangbangers out there who act without thinking. I hope that scumbag lives the rest of his days in jail. RIP #27.
I do hope that people learn from the situation especially Marshall. Mabey he will grow up one day and stay out of all the "off the field drama"

A gun makes some guys feel 10 feet tall, especially cowards.

It's unfortunate that people consider this a way of life.

311 has a great song that describes these punks that shot him, Guns are for Pussies.
