Would be better off picking up Thomas Jones.
How is Jones any better than Portis? Because he doesn't say dumb things? I would be in favor of Jones if it part of a culture change but I am not buying that he is an upgrade on the field.
I think a Portis/Parker platoon could be very interesting, assuming they are both healthy of course.

Exactly and having both of them will likely keep them both healthier and more likely to complete the season than either of them being a workhorse.
Plus ganther
.. assuming we keep him

agree, that is if they're signing a vet to a reasonable contract. I wouldn't mind if they don't sign any fa rb.

I think he was a whole lot better than CP last year. CP looked terrible at times, stumbling on his blockers, losing his balance in the open field.

He's already been released.. The only RB on the roster right now are Portis and Alridge

I'm sorry... but I've been thinking for a while... LaGarrett Blount from Oregon... the guy's stock is down because of the infamous punch... but I LOVE the way the dude runs and we may be able to get a 1st round talent in the 3rd-4th round.
Well Said!!!!!

It was almost comical at times. But it was painful too.

Especially if we add a dash of Montario Hardesty to the mix.
