Why haven't we heard how smart these pick-ups were?

Granted, we wouldnt have Williams if Gibbie didn't come back, but if lets say Spurrier got him, we would have the top defense and at least a respectable offense instead of one of the worst. As far as Denny, he's a proven winner and a great coach who wouldn't need this "time to get reaquainted with the game." Don't the Cards have the same record as us...with Josh McNown and Emmitt Smith...it's a miracle they won 2 games and are respectable. :Smoker:

I'm with you VA tech. I support Gibbs and still believe in him, but i do not believe that criticizing him is off limits. When you are 2-5 you should expect criticism, regardless of how many rings you have.

It's not because he dislikes him...it's the disrespect I'm talking about.

if denny is a proven winner, than what's gibbs supposed to be? and mccown is playing better than brunell, his WRs are better, and his RBs aren't bad (though old)... you should check the stats and matchups and maybe rethink that... and btw, if spurrier did get williams... wait, IT'D NEVER HAPPEN, so that's a pointless arguement.

I agree you can question anyone about anything, but I don't like the disrespect either. Especially on this type of board.

I personally questioned the Brunnel signing from the beginning. I wanted to go after Garcia or Collins if we had to bring someone in but really give Ramsey a fair shot. But I don't disrespect him even though I don't agree with him.

he's been so "successful" yep all those rings at Minny and Arizona is the "surprise" team in the NFC at 2-5......If you argue for any other coach it should be the Redskins most successful since Gibbs left the first time..Marty Schottenheimer at least he got us to 8-8
