OT Trent Williams should also be available.
Williams reminds me a little of Levi Brown for some reason. I guess because I feel like he'll definitely be good, but not LT good.

He's RT good and who drafts a RT with a top ten pick?

I'd still draft the best LT and play him at RT if this was the case.

I'm curious about Trent Williams. Most reports I've read about him say he may be better suited for RT. Some say he should get a shot at LT and if nothing else you'll have a great RT for years. He played RT until last year and then took Phil Loadbolts spot. He had a great combine and seemed to show he has what a LT needs to be successful. I wonder if he's undervalued after playing only 1 year at LT? He's good, but good enough to play LT?

Most scouts/execs seem to believe that with Trent Williams' athleticism he can pretty quickly adapt to being an LT. Last year was really his first year playing LT. Right now he's a better RT than LT for sure, but he does offer the flexibility that Shanahan likes. Bulaga is similar in that he can probably play both, but I think he's better suited to play RT.
I think the best LT for us, and the one who will be the best 5 years from now when we look back on this draft is Charles Brown. I don't know that I would take him at #4 though. He's more of a late 1st, maybe early 2nd. Though I'd be surprised if he makes it to #37

I could see us trading with Buff. and picking up their 1st, 2nd and 5th round picks for our 1st and 4th round picks. They would be guaranteed either Brad. or Claussen, and we would be set up to get a starting LT, plus we get the 41st pick in the 2nd round, good quality will be there, could possibly get Taylor Mays at that spot as well (a little Sean Tayloresque....), plus we still have the 37th pick, which should definitely be another T or OG, although, this year it seems that there are a higher # of NFL quality T's than there are G's. Can't ever recall a season with so many Tackles, and so few quality guards. Weird.

I would be ecstatic to be able to trade down to #7 and pick up another 2nd or 2 3rds myself.
I've been advocating this for a while now. I'd love to get SF's #13 and #17, but would settle for Browns #9 and the two #3rd rounders.
We made out very well last year at #13.
