Umm....Firstdown, could you translate for us please?

Sorry Smack, my keyboard went wild and I really didn't intend to submit that.

Please edit.

Hope Gilbert finds himself a good advisor, someone he can confide in when he's having problems.

Glad he didn't go to poison, look foreward to him returning with the Wizards.

You're on a roll tonight :)

I hope Leonsis can find a way to move him. The Wiz need a clean slate.

Grunfeld said again today that Arenas will be back...of course, who knows if Grunfeld himself will be back. I've got mixed feelings on Arenas coming back, I worry about his knee and his behavior...but he was having a pretty decent season for us before the indicent

Me too. I don't know how Bret Michaels would've felt about Gil joining the band.

Must be nice to be rich and famous. Any one of us would be in jail for multiple years. Love that US legal system.

Seriously. This is a joke. Frankly I wish he had done some time. 30 days in a halfway house? LOL.

Oh, and there is this:

Grunfeld: Arenas will be a Wizard next season - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5034223)

I think Ernie is making this decision because he made Gilbert the $111M centerpiece of his reign as GM of the Wizards. He sunk so much money into Caron and Jamison, and now they're gone. If he voided Gil's contract or tried to trade him, how could he defend the fact that he deserves to keep his job?

Also, it's worth noting that unless he makes statements like these, Gil's trade value goes to zero.

Arenas was losing games for the Wizards before the gun incident. He's a juvenile and will always cause problems. It's at least fun to root for the team now, even though they don't have any stars. The only problem with next season is that Arenas might be back on the team. Now I learn that Grunfeld might've drafted Stephen Curry, which would've been great!

Gilbert is a lucky man. I'd rather see him on another team and wish Ernie hadn't signed him to such a huge contract. The new Wizards are more fun to watch, even when they lose.
