The training facilities have supposedly drastically improved. I don't know, I haven't been there in years. But I know a couple of key players from the 80s/early 90s who went on to other teams said they couldn't believe the difference between the Redskins organization from a facilities/management perspective and the teams they went onto. Point being it's been that way for a long, long time.

It didn't look awful when I saw it, but I also haven't been to a whole bunch of teams' headquarters.

But it sounds like it's much better now

The eagles of the 80s always said that it was a negative environment & the facilities, especially the vet, were a dump. That's one of the things A. REid did, improve the facilities & of course, they got a new stadium.

I think the Skins of the 00s have the same rap, if indeed the facilities are sub par. I guess it's presumed that the danny would have the nicest stuff, but it's been said on here before how the scouting dept. was budgeted low. Now I'm hearing the club infrastructure (aside from Redskin One).

Maybe Allen is convincing him to re-allocate some of his funds from players & into the facilities & staff instead.

It honestly makes no sense that Snyder would pay through the nose for over-the-hill veteran free agents, sign big name coaches to huge multi-year contracts, yet be so frugal with the scouting department. History has proven that the best teams are the ones that consistently draft really well. There's no salary cap for scouts, why not assemble the best scouting department money can buy?

On a side note, i was listening to espn980 and i doc walker said our training facilities were just horrible, and among the worst he's ever seen. he'd even seen colleges that have better equipment and facilities than we do. Not to hijack the thread but does anyone here (smoot perhaps) know what gives?

from the pics that I've seen I've def seen better setups for the athletics gyms in colleges

I liked it...and that's all that matters

Bradford's was better though. Displayed a stronger arm

someone, mcshay maybe, can't recall.. said that mccoy had all of his drops from under center, had more movement, etc.. wasn't nearly as controlled as bradford's

either way sounds like they both had great days

Don't confuse that with "refuses to play for the Rams"

That might be better in terms of making him a Redskin.

McCoy's pro day seem to showcase more of his athletic abilities overall, where as Bradford's seemed to be more designed to showcase that his shoulder is fine

You lost me

If he strongly expresses to the Rams he doesn't want to go there they might pass over him was his thinking I believe.

We can always hope for that refusal, though.

He'll be thrilled to be the #1 pick...making #1 pick money.

Bradford does have the look to be the best QB in the league for the next 12 years.
