with having so few picks, we cant afford to miss with #4. We have to take Okung, he has got to be one of the safest picks in the draft.
Mayock Thinks Redskins Could Pass on Okung...johno 04-08-2010, 08:49 AM with having so few picks, we cant afford to miss with #4. MTK 04-08-2010, 09:12 AM Here's the plan: Trade down, pick up an extra 1st rounder, send that to Denver for Marshall, and still pick up one of the top OL propsects. Win. JoeRedskin 04-08-2010, 09:17 AM ^^ Championship!! skinsfanthru&thru 04-08-2010, 10:08 AM Here's the plan: Trade down, pick up an extra 1st rounder, send that to Denver for Marshall, and still pick up one of the top OL propsects. Win. I think I'd pass out from excitement if that happened haha. I think Mcnabb would too if in one day you told him you got him a good young guy to protect his blindside and one of the top 5 wrs in the league to throw the ball to to go along with the targets he already has. CultBrennan59 04-08-2010, 10:37 AM Oh, it could happen if we were to trade down with someone like San Fran or Seattle. Or we could just swap first round picks with denver and get marshall that way. If we pick in the middle of the first round, we could still get Bulaga, Williams, Davis, and should definitely be able to get Charles Brown, Bruce Campbell and Roger Saffold. tootergray34 04-08-2010, 11:34 AM Not sure anyone wants to inherit AH's huge contract, especially if the cap comes back. AH was the dumbest acquisition the Danny has ever done!!!!!! 100% agree...while I do like the upside AH presents, it is still a heavy burden financially for us. I don't think we'll be able to move him though...tough situation. 15 days till the draft! I for one and pretty suprised I haven't heard any rumblings about a JC trade...anybody here heard anything about it? Hoping for a 3rd out of him...but I know that is optimistic on my end. tootergray34 04-08-2010, 11:35 AM Here's the plan: Trade down, pick up an extra 1st rounder, send that to Denver for Marshall, and still pick up one of the top OL propsects. Win. Incredible if this happens...would make me and many others extremely happy! I'd even go back to the 2nd and perhaps get the OT from USC...I believe his name is Brown....hell i'd even take ducasse if we could get b marsh. tryfuhl 04-08-2010, 01:09 PM I'm not sure I get this write-up? The reviewer says that Okung has long arms but is not very strong, but we know that he put up 38 reps at the combine and scouts were saying that was an absoluetly huge number for a guy with very long arms so I begin to ask myself if this guy really knows what he is talking about? When I read further and he says he is not impressed with Okung as a pass blocker and then I look at twenty other reviews that place him as the best pass blocking lineman in the draft without question I have to say I'm not so sure this review helps us? lower body strength.. talking about him getting pushed back a lot apparently he watched the tape and analyzed it, I didn't, I don't know.. I think that I only watched one of his games last year, maybe two internetcareer 04-08-2010, 10:51 PM Not sure anyone wants to inherit AH's huge contract, especially if the cap comes back. AH was the dumbest acquisition the Danny has ever done!!!!!! the "Danny" didn't done that one. That would be the "Vinnie". Can't have it both ways. Either Danny runs things or he doesn't. He listened to Vinnie and its Vinnie's fault...or Danny makes all the calls so we now have to give credit for the "Danny" going over Shanny's head and getting McNabb. GTripp0012 04-09-2010, 02:24 AM I love me some Trent Williams, but I will just present the following evidence without comment: The main reason we landed Brian Orakpo at no. 13 in the draft last year is because a bunch of teams thought exactly like this: scheme over talent. |
