I read that earlier (hence my new sig) and I was pretty F'ing grossed out, which is saying something. I would have killed that fat piece of garbage!

Par for the course in Philly. I'm honestly not shocked by it (happening there).

According to the article, the guy started wrestling with the police who were arresting him and other fans intervened on behalf of the father. It may have been one of them that gave the guy a shiner.

The Dad's comment was that he was concerned that he would be arrested and then his 15 and 11 year old daughters would be alone at the game. <Whew> the man deserves an award for his forthought and restraint.

Either that or he knows that the Philly Cops are just as bad and they would actually leave the kids behind.

I don't understand how they sat in vomit drenched clothes for the remainder of the game. The article mentions they left after the game with the young girl getting a foul ball from another fan.
