We might not even have a front 7 this year. It could be a front 8 on 1st down, and a front 6 on 2nd and 3rd down.
With Buchanon, I think we play a lot of nickel this year, and Landry may be more of a linebacker on 1st down.

You think that we'll drop OLB to the line and S to the LBs in a 4-4 type but without 4-4 personnel? In the 4-4 you're susceptible to deep passes so I think they'd keep the safety back, but I'm no formations expert.

And a 6 man front? You mean with 2 LB's creeping up towards the line? 2nd and 3rd? or situationally at times on 2nd or 3rd?

Redskins Insider - Landry clarifies his comments about playing linebacker (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/3-4-defense/landry-clarifies-his-comments.html?wprss=redskinsinsider)

"Nah, man, I'm playing strong safety,"

I'm guessing it will be similar to how Steve Atwater was used, from the FS position.

I hope it's even close to as effective. If so, he'll have his chance at Jacobs, so he can get his Okoye moment.
