Is it just me or does the title seem misleading? I thought players were getting released.

I'm positive the first Monday Night Game will be Washington VS Philly. At least I hope it is:)

Our first MNF game, or the first MNF game of the season?

I think they already announced that the 1st Monday Night game will be at the new stadium in the NJ swamplands. I think the Jets host it.

That could be the Sunday nighter though I guess...I don't see the point though. The opening week games are so highly rated anyway that you could put any teams on and get high ratings. I think they will save McNabb vs Eagles and allow a little buildup for it.

What weekend does this season start? Anyone know? I am already getting hit with family obligations. Seriously I ask for 17 Sundays a year to enjoy football and everyone and their mother has to book some family outing during on those days, so annoying!

Redskins 2010 regular season schedule

Channel 4's Dan Hellie has obtained a copy of the Redskins' 2010 regular season schedule. The Redskins will open the season at home against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football on Sept. 12 and play two additional prime-time games -- a Sunday night game at FedEx Field against the Colts in Week 6 and a Monday Night Football game at home against the Eagles in Week 10.

According to a Tweet from Hellie, the Redskins play eight games before the bye week: Dallas at home, Houston at home, at St. Louis, at Philadelphia, Green Bay at home, Indianapolis at home, at Chicago, at Detroit.

After the bye, they play the Eagles at home, at Tennessee, Minnesota at home, at the Giants, Tampa Bay at home, at the Cowboys, at Jacksonville, and then conclude the season against the Giants at FedEx Field.

The NFL is scheduled to release the entire 2010 schedule at 7 p.m. Coach Mike Shanahan is slated to talk about it on ESPN2 at 7:15 p.m.

For the life of me, I don't understand why a 4-12 team has so many goddamn prime time games.
