from what I heard today the reason they like Trent Williams is because he can play both left and right tackle and Okung is pretty much a right tackle.
I don't care. Shanny is the expert. Let him decide. I just want an offensive lineman to solidy a position. They do seem to be high on Heyer this year at whatever position they put him at.

I liked Casserly's insight on Okung vs Williams on the 'backside cut-off' and comparing Williams to Clady. Casserly gives some hints to what's looked for in an OT citing his experience with working with KS in HOU.

Hey it's the number 4 pick and we really can't afford to be one of those teams that missses and is back picking in this range for the next 2-3 years. My only contribution is this, whether its Williams or Okung, it will infuse some young talent into this old, brittle offensive line and that alone is encouraging.

Okung is a LT, Williams is considered to be better at the right side...you got the two mixed up.
Which doesn't make sense if TW is more atheletic. It's really a toss up. Both have played on both sides of the line. Okung seems like the safer pick.

I saw that too and agreed. It put me close to favoring Williams to Okung.
I'd be thrilled with either one and I don't think we can go wrong with either of them.
