Bynum says he'll play in Game 5 (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AvjHNaU9aB0s.t3w_dzxXJy8vLYF?slug=mc-bynumlakers061210Bynum's)
If he wasn't able to come back that'd be huge as through Game 3 he'd been close to the equivilant of Perkins and Davis combined for the Celtics despite playing 10-15 minutes less a game than the 2 of them. He just adds a huge element to the Laker's interior defense that can't be ignored.
(Bynum=13.3ppg/7.3reb/2.7blocks vs Perkins&Davis= 16ppg/11reb/1block)
The low pt totals for Pierce, Allen, and Rondo has atleast a little to do with the fact a good portion of their shots are being contested/blocked by either Gasol/Bynum or Bryant/Artest/Fisher. I mean the Lakers are averaging almost 8 blocked shots a game!! Kobe's still averaging 28.3ppg without any really low games except game 2 where he was in foul trouble the whole game and still got 21. So anyone who follows the NBA should have a feeling we might be in store for seeing a 40pt+ kind of game from him soon. And I'm sorry "holding" a player that's a 95% jump shooter to 41% shooting is not what I'd really call successful defense as that's only 4.5% less than his season average(that's about one less made shot a game for every 20 shots taken).
So as I said I'm not worried. I expected each game to be a battle because there's a reason each team made it to the finals, but I haven't seen anything in this series to make me believe the Lakers aren't the better team in this match up when all is said and done.
