Isn't it true that if someone has high body fat it stays in their system longer? Maybe the 100# overweight made him unable to shake it off easy. This guy had a $1,000 espresso machine and would down about a quart of it every morning to try to kick start himself. If he had smoked up a storm the night before nothing got him going.
Its possible he simply has a substance abuse problem or just couldn't handle tree. Its not for everybody.

Right, only for losers who don't want to grow up.
Even though I don't smoke I see no reason to have that attitude toward people that smoke, unless you also think the same of people who drink alcohol. I have never seen someone have too many bong hits and go start trouble, on the other hand I have known many a mean drunk.

So wait, are you trying to promote that pot heads are worse off financially than alcoholics?
It's pretty clear that heavy pot use is bad, but the overwhelming body of evidence shows alcohol abuse is crippling (both financially and health wise).
Personally, I don't give a shit. Let states decide. Medically obviously the stuff should be made available.
