Monkeydad 04-04-2011, 03:11 PM My wife was running a small business from home and the company closed it doors Friday. It was kind of bad because I could not hide how happy that news made me. Hes the funniest guy ive ever know and is overall a great boss. He didnt get me a Rush book and besides the Redskins and VCU bball doesnt really show any interest in what type of music or other stuff i may like out side of work (which would make me really uncomfortable if he did) but he did get me a VCU shirt Thursday and a VCU lance armstrong knock off braclet a couple weeks back. Its the unexpected little things that get my heart. mredskins 04-04-2011, 04:51 PM We have this soccer mom in our office who really I mean no word of lie could not find cell A1 in excel if you asked her. If you ask her to put a spread sheet together it will be just numbers she does all the math by hand on a notepad. It is sad. I am always like how does she keep her job, basically she just kisses ass. She invited and paid for our bosses to go to opening day for the O's today. I just shake my head at how some folks stay employed. Guidelines - FoxNews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/04/04/fried-food-perfume-banned-new-health-dept-guidelines/) I actually wouldn't mind a ban on perfume/cologne in the office. With the way some people load it on it can be almost suffocating when you're near them. mredskins 04-13-2011, 05:48 PM So the work from home deal I was supposed to start last year is finally rolling out for real at the end of April. I'm on the initial list to try it out, 4 days at home 1 in the office... I'm excited but also a little apprehensive. Anyone have experience working from home? Advantages/disadvantages? I own and run a business and have pretty much no clue what your talking about. Not sure of your age but not everyone was raised on computers. The computers I have use and learned on are pretty much programs that do the work for me. | |
