This is a joke. These are perception rankings and have nothing to do with how the organization is doing on the field.
Agreed , all you need to do is look in the Eagels trophy case at their Lombardi trophies an...........what......really....nevermind .

Congrats for figuring that out on your own.
I saw that but it sure didnt sound like those that posted before me did so thanks for pointing that out to them.
^ Nothing personal, yours just struck me as the most obvious example of not reading the article.

Oh how nice, we're 11th...now if we can get rid of Snyder we might be top 5.

It seems fair. I think the eagles are that high due to their success in the last decade & a very disciplined front office & coaching staff in terms of sticking to their biz plan. They've been able to consistently win at a pretty low price.
The eagles are different now as Roseman is the GM. supposedly he put his stamp on things by trading McNabb, which he'd lobbied for the last year, and trading up to get the DE/OLB from michigan. This could be a very different eagles team in a couple years, maybe one that will gamble in free agency & look to make more deals for big name players. We'll see how that works out. It's too early to tell, but this offseason we may have become the more fiscally conservative team in the nfc east.
