A 2 Year ban from Bowls seems a little harsh. I understand that the school should be punished, but I feel bad for some of those players who did nothing wrong and may never get to play in a big game.

The loss of 30 scholarships is far worse than the postseason ban.

USC is finished for at least a decade. Also, with the Pac-10 becoming the Pac-16 soon, already having Colorado joining with other competitive teams coming...they're going to be lucky to win more than 4 or 5 games a year under Lane Kiffin's leadership.

I wonder how people in So Cal are going to react now since the reason they lost 30 scholarships was because Reggie Bush wanted a crappy car with rims and a crappy, but expensive, sound system. The main culprit of your programs demise is basically this crappy car

Despite the Impala SS emblem, I'm pretty sure that's a Caprice. (C-pillar is a dead give away).

It's even worse than it looks.

Karma's a bitch, Lane Kiffin. I'm so happy that little shitburger has to deal with these sanctions. The latest is that current USC players can transfer without losing a year of eligibility, and other schools are permitted to contact them. WOW.

I would say Reggie Bush cold easily loose his Heisman but the writers will try to be all fancy and "vote against the process." Anyway here's to hoping that the NCAA is smart enough to take Reggie Bush off the ballot and force a revote.

The thing that ticks me off though is that I would love for Pete Carroll to fail in Seattle now but the fact of the matter is my former teammates success depends on Carroll's coaching.

You played for Seattle??? Did I miss something?

Sucks to be them but then again who cares...they're going to get Longhorns and Sooners in the PAC. Also, Sark is eying some of those SRs/JRs eligible to transfer to come to UDub...should be interesting to see how many of them he can poach.

LOL

Though I don't have any problem with the transfer.. it's not their fault that Pete etc played dirty with Bush.

Amen to that. Even though he wasn't coaching USC and thus not responsible for the Carroll / Bush issue, Kiffen deserves all the bad Karma of the universe after he bailed on the Univ. of Tennessee program. He'll even get a little dose of his own practice of having other college recruiters coming to steal his own players. What a douche. But given Lame Kiffen's past crimes, he'll bail on USC as soon as possible and take another NFL coaching position. Have I called him a douche yet??
