I'm sure one could be fabbed up fairly easily. You could get some threaded metal pipe and plenty of bolts to attach it to a trailer hitch, or get the materials and have a metal shop do the final welds for you for a fraction of the price. Add some black paint and there you go.

Just don't drive with it attached. :D

One place you may want to look is a Tractor Supply store. They have a ton of hitches and accessories to attach to a truck. Perhaps you could find something that would work or make fabricating one easier.

Haha, why do that! The Excursion is bigger :)

I mean I know we can get the hitch, I just don't want to be driving through D.C and having the thing fall off you know? The pops wants a like full one piece thing, but of course they are all like $500+ and he doesn't want to spend that much.

hahaha.. it's not going to fall off

as far as I've seen the all-in-one kits are the same thing.. just a hitch and the fitting pipe.. I mean stuff like that is done by standards so it's not like you're going to have a hard time finding ones that match up

I was checking out the grill gator, gonna have to message them about whether it's charcoal or gas, couldn't find any information.

Pretty big detail for them to leave out. Due to the smokestack up top I'm going to guess that it's charcoal, plus I don't see any propane fittings.

I'd think that you could have someone fabricate it for less but who knows.. looks like a quick bend and weld job by them

I have a Weber charcol grill we use and have a larger box I keep it in when going to and from the game. I cook before game and then dump the coals after the game and throw it back into its box. You have an Excursion so it height should not be an issue.

Yeah we like the gas, less mess plus we do a seafood boil which has a gas line so it's just easier to use gas. I was thinking it's charcoal too.

I'll keep looking around and check out local places, get a price zone, if not, just use the little small one we have now, just get their earlier.
