This really cheered me up after hearing about a little girl that passed away last week.

It was our vacation last week and we got kind of a crummy beach house that was noisy and to small, basically it was a pit, nothing what it looked on the web site. So naturally we all bitched about and how it ruined our vacation, oh life is horrible mentality.

So we get back and my wife found this blog about a family who struggled with trying to keep their child alive over the same period of time we were on vacation.

My heart just sunk; here I am crying about a beach house when these folks are fighting for their daughters life.

Made me realize don't sweat the small stuff in life and count your blessings.

Here is the blog I was speaking of, warning it will make you cry.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer but I want to pass on the story and this little girls memory. God bless Jo Jo and RIP.

What a great story. One of the children our club purchased hear aids for a several years back had so little hearing she could not talk. I think she was around 5 or 6 when we purchased her a set of hearing aids and withing a month she could talk. She came to one of our dinner meeting as our guess and she read us a thank you letter and ended it by saying just over a month ago I could not have talked to any of you or read this thank you letter. She had 20 guys crying and a few of the other dinner tables around us in tears. That was the moment I realized how much of a difference just a few people can make in peoples lives just having fun raising some money.

That's wonderful. If you don't mind my asking Buster, is this video personal or did you just find it?

Always like feel good videos like this. Reminds me of my ex's brother, who lost his hearing at a young age. His parents first turned on his aid outside of the church on Christmas Eve so the first thing he could hear was the Christmas bells.
