someone has way too much time on their hands

We're going to have an extended offseason this year. Not my fault. Need to keep my posting prowess in top-tip shape!:cheeky-sm

Former Redskins running back John Riggins has weighed in on the Albert Haynesworth saga, saying that it’s been clear since the 2009 season Haynesworth doesn’t hustle on the field, and that the Redskins would be wise to cut ties with their pricey defensive tackle.

“This guy plays when he wants to play, and he takes plays off when you need him out on the field,” Riggins said on SIRIUS XM’s Mad Dog Radio, via Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post. “I’ve never been around a coach that thinks for a second that that’s the kind of player that’s going to help you win a championship. So my advice, not that anybody’s asking it, is to fire the guy. Get him the hell out of camp. The guy’s an infection. Why do you want him down in the locker room?”

Haynesworth isn’t the only one who was caught in Riggins’ cross hairs. Riggins also took a shot at Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb, saying he talks like a politician and adding, “I think he’ll come closer to winning the election then he will becoming a Super Bowl winning quarterback.”

And like plenty of NFL fans, Riggins is tired of hearing about Brett Favre.

“If you see this man call the local authorities,” Riggins said of Favre. “Do not try to apprehend him by yourself. He’s nuts.”

A-HOLE on the back of his shirt would have been more fitting

Mcnabb is a better qb than anyone he ever played with in Washington. The guy made sorry ass WRs look good ( pinkston, Mitchell, thrash) his winning % is very good and has played in a super bowl. Give the guy a break

Paa-leeze. I'd take Theismann over Mcnabb ANY day. Much better QB. He has a ring and a league MVP and would have had more if not for LT.

Completely agree with Riggins. McNabb does talk like a politician, never shows any fire or passion and doesn't get angry or even a little pissed. Just isn't the kind of guy I want running the team. Joey T spiked the ball on a Cowboys' player's head once after running it in at RFK and a big fight ensued. I like that. I want a guy who competes with heart and fire...makes the game fun. wants to mix it up. Riggins did have his quirks and definitely didn't always practice but on Sundays, the dude strapped it on and balled like a warrior. Super Bowl 17, fourth and 1. End of ****in story.

Yeah, I had McNabb stererotyped all wrong I knew he was laid back and professional but I expected him to COMMAND and take charge- way to passive like Campbell. The team benched him and made up stories and he kept a smile and said the PCorrect thing-come on you live and play once Thanks for not adding to the drama but wheres your manhood? Have pride, dont let it amount to benching and removal PLAY LIGHTS OUT-he couldnt.

I was rooting for CP to break Riggins record but whatever happens Diesel is tops.

I could not really recognize him standing....perhaps if he could lay down on the playing field for a while......it would help?
