On a note only remotely related to Jason Campbell, I'm watching all the game film I missed in the busy period last year now, and I've got to say: Twinkle Toes Yoder has to be the worst blocking TE in NFL history. He can't even engage a defender without going to his knees. They used him as a lead blocking fullback on one play, and he hit Akeem Jordan (I think), and bounced a yard backward and fell down. Jordan was stationary and Yoder had a head of steam.
He's also a phenomenal goal line receiver.

We did get rid of Yoder didn't we?

Campbell will probably be expected to best that, and for good reason: he's a lot better than both those guys.
No way Campbell sucks put in Colt!

Those figures must be wrong because um Campbell sucks and he,lol, caused the pressures.

Good info!

This is the least insightful post i've read in a long time. There's no reason to believe JC can't have success in the NFL. He played in one of the toughest football markets (especially for a QB) w/ easily one of the worst o-lines year after year. Very, very few QBs would have been successful in his position.
Oakland gives him a fresh start. He'll improve over last year a little above his historical trend line, which means he'll have a very solid season. And...he's still one of the highest character guys in the game.
...nonetheless our current QB is a super high character guy and knows how to win. McNabb is a franchise talent. Let's all hope he's got a few great years left.
There were tons of reasons to think JC won't have success in the NFL. It's one thing to be optimistic but be a little realistic. Are you implying the raiders are a better team then the Redskins so he will do better this year? How else could you think he will do better?
I hope he does well, just don't see it happening.

Blache really called good defensive games when Hall wasn't in the lineup. Actually, that's pretty much true of 2008 as well.

I don't see a Cliff Branch type of wr in the Oakland line up. Davis is being optimistic and I think Oak has had a good off season but I don't think they're even a playoff team. But they should be better plus they play in weak division.

No, Davis is being senile.
They could push for a WC spot with luck and health though...or a total collapse by the Chargers.
