I was actually coming in here to mention that, sorry I missed you guys. Thought that I was ending up going to the game so had to get things arranged.. didn't find out till after 5 that the person was backing out. I was at home lining up tickets. She'll still be around for the next one right? haha

Right now Sarah has committed to an MMA Fight appearance in Winchester (she is also a ring girl there) and the Mike Nelms event in Fredericksburg.

Dave Butz would be a great catch.

James Thrash is such a high class human being that he makes any event better just by being there.

Bobby Mitchell - - merely a Hall of Famer - - would be good too.

Billy Kilmer?

Monte Coleman?

Jeff Bostic?

Gary Clarke?

Doug Williams? - - isn't he in the general area working for/with the new UFL franchise in Norfolk/Hampton Roads?

Thrash would be a great addition, I was thinking of older guys instead of recent.

I would try some of Norv's guys:

Terry Allen
Jim Lachey
Tre Johnson
Ken Harvey
Stephen Davis
Frerotte
Stanley Richards

I don't know if any of these guys are in the greater DC area, but those are names I can think of that haven't been mentioned. Lachey and Allen would be nice draws, while the others would probably be very happy to help out.

Not sure about any of that but we'll see.

I have been working hard on this event along with my other events. As a direct result of this post, I tracked down Kurt. Just a few minutes ago he committed to doing the event on November 6th. It is not even up on my website but will be very soon.

Thanks for all of the help guys. I am still working hard on adding a few more guys to this event and am always open to suggestions.

Glad to hear that, good job. :)

Bobby Mitchell is doing Chantilly in October. Billy Kilmer just did our 1972 Reunion in March for the Children's Miracle Network. Monte Coleman coaches college ball this year. Bostic was not available for the date, but we did just have him in January. Clark is also not available.

A couple of interesting names on here. Some we have had recently, but there are one or two I might work on tracking down.

Timmy Smith? We DO appreciate his one big game. :D

Kelvin Bryant, George Rogers, Alvin Walton, Darryl Grant, Jeff Bostic, Ali Haji-Sheikh, George Starke (Original Hog), Charlie Brown, Rich Milot, Ralieigh MacKenzie, Chip Lohmiller (our last capable kicker), Andre Collins (I see him doing a LOT of shows), Terry Orr, Martin Mayhew...

Ask and ye shall receive. Rich Milot just confirmed for the event.

I forgot, Darryl Grant, Pat Fischer and Ron McDole will not be at this event, but they will be the VIP's at the "Sock Hop" the food bank is hosting on November 5th at the Hospitality House in Fredericksburg.
