Nothing like the day when a dad catches his son checking out the same girl as him. I don't have a son so my only experience like that is getting busted by the wife or daughter for checking out a girl. LOL Thanks for the picks and you need to get to a game.

She was right in front of us the whole "show".

My son loved her....got a face full when she handed him that poster too, which is now hanging above his crib. :D

All of the cheerleader pics were taken by my wife...she held onto the camera for that part for some reason.

Anyways, we arrived at 9:00, drove down from PA, which only took 2 hours. Had no idea I was that close (Route 15 rocks).

Arrived early enough to get a nice view from between the two practice fields right at the rope behind the end zone and in the shade, which was important with a 2 year-old. Stayed for about 5 hours, right until the end of the scrimmage. Didn't stay for autographs.

Haynesworth was getting mocked the whole time, some really funny stuff, especially whenever he was running.

Observations:

I was VERY impressed by the defense...so many INTs, of all the QBs.

Bartel seemed to be getting more snaps than Beck in the scrimmage...maybe they're trying to get a good look before cutting him?

As I said, Vickers was surprisingly dangerous...wonder if we'll keep him. Torrain looked GREAT...had some big runs. Larry Johnson has great hands out of the backfield, we do not need Westbrook.

Orapkpo was getting to the QB a lot, despite the great O-line play.

This defense is going to be incredible this season, I foresee a ton of sacks and turnovers.

McNabb looked like he was in the best shape of his career, a lot of people made this comment. He was used in a lot off rollouts and deep passes, completing them. I expected this with Shanny's offense, but I now expect to see some big yardage plays, something we've missed for a while.

Gano is VERY accurate, but the longsnapper Sundberg causes any of his misses, he's unreliable.

Bidwell...great punter...mile-high, perfect spirals.

CP is hungry.

Carlos is playing good, not getting beat, tight coverage, making plays on the ball and even getting INTs.

LaRon...still needs some work on coverage, but if he's used in blitzes, he'll be effective there.

No Malcolm Kelly.

Also, saw "history"...Haynesworth passed and practiced!

excellent post as well as the pics. will be tuning in for more updates.

Funny but believe it or not, I went for the football. :D

But, confirmation that my son is a fan of the ladies...always a welcome event.

We have a ton of cheerleader pics, all taken by my wife. It was my wife who actually suggested we go and would not take no for an answer...so she's a keeper.

IT is not even the "grounds" it is more the feeling, it felt more like training camp in Frostburg and Carsailie, the town/school was exicited to have them and there was a buzz around town.

At RP it misses that element.

If you recall earlier I started a thread asking you guys where you felt training camp should be held. The park is closer to the city, convenient in many ways but equally as uncomfortable. No seating arrangements is for many [including myself] an area that should be given a little more consideration in an effort to make the experience more rewarding for the fans who bold the humidity and hot temperatures around here at this time of year. Traffic as well.

Got there early (from 3 states away), parking was easy, no traffic really, got a spot in the shade...was comfortable all day.

I beat most of the locals there. :D

Weather was perfect, but if I were in the sun...yeah, that would've been a bit miserable.

Glad it worked out great for you and your experience was enjoyable. It's 94 degrees here today, the humidity you can cut with a knife. We really miss coming your way in the summer, Carlisle was always such an enjoyable atmosphere for us.

Great job with the pics they are crystal clear and you can tell you had a great spot to see the action .. being out here in AZ i miss the training camp days and i'm super jealous .... glad to hear the positive vibes on the offense .... Cardinals training camp is just nothing compared to the Skins' and the absolute hopefulness that surrounds training camp this season .. HTTR :woot:

Awesome pics Buster, really enjoyed them. You wouldn't happen to have been the man sitting behind my in 2008 in 416 against the Cardinals that told his young son, "That's why men come to games, to see women dancing in their underwear" would you?

Haha
