I watched him and I'm not surprised especially after he had complained after the Ravens game of playing with 3rd stringers. He was giving "minimal" effort and boy did it show, that's his way of pouting instead of to the media. What a fat PUSS.

Me thinks Haynesworth won't be seeing the field very much at least during the first few games.

This is actually playing out just as one would imagine.

Shanahan would rather lose in what he considers "the right way" than play that piece of shit. I guarantee that.

How shocking...a veteran not giving his all for a couple of plays in the final preseason game. This is such a newsworthy story!

yeah no shit dude...if he plays like a hot pile in the regular season, then i'd worry, but until then, i'm not sweating it man.

I tend to agree with this article, why not just release the guy and move on with a clean slate?

I'd still try to trade him if possible. Preferably if a 4-3 DT goes down and somebody wouldn't mind giving up something for him, either a pick or if it isn't an injury situation than a guy who wants to leave a team. Even if it's just like a 4th or 5th round pick, I'd rather get something than nothing for him. There's no way anybody is going to give up a 2nd round pick, so we might have to settle for less. Either way by now it's not just hurting the team it's making our staff look bad, and I know I'm not the only one who's tired of it.

Well,if Shanahan is calling the shots on who plays on Defense, when we have a well established D-coordinatorin Haslet to decide Defensive personel...then this team is already in trouble.

If there's one thing a person can crticize Shanny for,is his knowlesge of Defense or lack thereof..

Remember when he signed all the browns D-line on Denver in his tenure?

What am I saying?
I'm saying the fued between Shanny and Haynesworth should have nothing to do,with haslet putting Haynesworth in on his D-line rotation.

It should be haslet's call..not Shanny's..

If Shanny is specifically putting his interest into the defense on Haynesworth's account and his playing time because of this pissing contest....then I will have lost respect for Shanny in this regard.

Besides,Shanny needs to worry about our lackluster running game from what I've seen and how he's going to correct it...

Otherwise,it won't matter if haynesworth plays or not imo...

I will hold judgement until after Dallas game...
I'm on a wait and see approach!

This is what aggravates me. I think Shanny and Allen have done a lot of good. IN general they're running a much more professional ship than we've had in years. But I am sick of Shanny's crap with AH. This BS notion that "everyone is the same" is just that BS. Good managers know that you don't manage every employee the same way. If you do then you aren't a good manager. Obviously AH is a doucheturd but if you think he's too good to get rid of then you need to manage him the best way possible. This asshatedness of trying to break him and make conform is not going to work...ever. And all Shanny is doing is continuing to keep a distraction going.

Good point FRPLG....Your post repeats verbatim the very point I tried to make in an earlier thread.

Haynesworth needs to be out there. Not saying we can't be good without him, but we are only better with him.

Did I mention the Washington Post is still retarded?
