Preliminary Nominees for the HOF 2011CrustyRedskin 02-04-2011, 11:46 AM Jack Kent Cook should be there. And Jacoby and Clark Monkeydad 02-04-2011, 01:09 PM Cris Carter (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?playerId=271) – Wide Receiver – 1987-89 Philadelphia Eagles, 1990-2001 Minnesota Vikings, 2002 Miami Dolphins (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?playerId=275)Richard Dent (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?playerId=240) – Defensive End – 1983-1993, 1995 Chicago Bears, 1994 San Francisco 49ers, 1996 Indianapolis Colts, 1997 Philadelphia Eagles Marshall Faulk (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?PlayerId=298) – Running Back – 1994-98 Indianapolis Colts, 1999-2005 St. Louis Rams Chris Hanburger (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?PlayerId=294)– Linebacker – 1965-1978 Washington Redskins Shannon Sharpe (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?playerId=279) – Tight End – 1990-99, 2002-03 Denver Broncos, 2000-01 Baltimore Ravens These are my five player picks, plus Sabol because I couldn't narrow it down to 5 total. Ed Sabol (http://www.thewarpath.net/hof/member.aspx?PlayerId=303)– Founder/President/Chairman – 1964-1995 NFL Films Slingin Sammy 33 02-04-2011, 02:25 PM As LiS mentioned a few months back, the class is limited to 5 modern day players and an up/down vote on each of the two Seniors. GTripp0012 02-04-2011, 03:18 PM Carter, Sharpe, Faulk, Dent, Sanders, Sabol Leader In Sports 02-04-2011, 10:05 PM Bettis Sanders Faulk Reed Hanburger Richter Shadowbyte 02-04-2011, 11:25 PM All of those players deserve to be HOF's IMO. They all dominated during their respective era's. Terpfan76 02-04-2011, 11:51 PM I think Bettis gets in and soon, but I can't see him as being superior to Curtis Martin. I see Faulk as a no brainer, Cris Carter, Tim Brown, Deion and Dent getting in. To even suggest that Faulk is not HOF worthy is a joke. Same goes for Bettis, but I just can't see him getting in first ballot especially with Faulk and Martin having put up superior stats at a stat driven position.
