I kind of agree there. I mean the first 3D movie I saw was Alice in Wonderland. We were just going to see it because we were with the wife's family in Florida and wanted something to do. Honestly, the 3D-ness of that movie made it worthwhile to me.
Now there are obviously movies that have lots of crap flying around just to be like "THIS IS 3DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD". But when it's done well, it's REALLY amazing. The other thing you have to watch out for is movies that add in the 3D effects after the fact. I didn't see it but I heard Clash Of The Titans was going to be a regular flick and was filmed as such, but then they added in the effects at the last minute and they came out like crap. Luckily, I think movie studios are catching on the fact that this is a bad idea pretty quickly.
