Good, Daniel Snyder has the money. Some of you are acting like the money is coming out of your pockets.
Redskins and McNabb Agree to Contract ExtensionShadowbyte 11-15-2010, 03:56 PM Good, Daniel Snyder has the money. Some of you are acting like the money is coming out of your pockets. MTK 11-15-2010, 03:56 PM Sounds like it's really 5 years, $40M. That's the guaranteed money. SirClintonPortis 11-15-2010, 03:56 PM Obviously, quarterbacks naturally get the biggest dough, but even so, he now has more guaranteed money than Haynesworth. skinsfaninok 11-15-2010, 03:57 PM I do, I do. Im glad he's on the team. I've been a McNabb fan since college. We do need him to get our team to the next level. He is due for a SB! There you go my man lol Sounds better.. I hear what you were saying, the Money seems stupid BUT the guy has 2-3 more Years at a high level IMO. hooskins 11-15-2010, 03:57 PM LINK: Source: Donovan McNabb gets 5-year, $78M extension - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5809694) redsk1 11-15-2010, 03:58 PM DM is a pretty damn good qb. He's no Manning or Brady, but he's pretty good. We could do alot worse. Maybe if he had an oline that was worth a sh**, I'd listen to the criticism. He's made the best this year out of a terrible oline. skinsfaninok 11-15-2010, 03:58 PM I'm beginning to hate this team. Cmon diehard, Chill out.. If 5 has 250 and 2 Tds tonight in a win you wont hate them. SirClintonPortis 11-15-2010, 03:59 PM Also, we're due for more years of suck until the general fan populace is sufficiently humbled and realizes that we need another year of purging so we can have a glorious future. Peyton Manning is the greatest thing ever to happen to Indy, but it took them having one year where they were the bottow-dwellers of the league to get him. Longtimefan 11-15-2010, 04:01 PM Good, Daniel Snyder has the money. Some of you are acting like the money is coming out of your pockets. Your sentiments were echoed by some about Haynesworth as well. mooby 11-15-2010, 04:01 PM It's very easy to second guess this decision, because it is a gamble. He won't perform like an 80 million dollar qb if we don't give him a good offensive line in front of him, and the interior of our line right now is pretty bad. This could be a great thing for us, make no mistake, but we do have to acknowledge the risk we're taking here. We are locking him up for multiple years which is a good thing imo, but since he hasn't proven himself yet in our system we don't know whether this will work out. And make no mistake, if he continues to perform badly this will only put more negative attention on the Redskins. This will answer the doubts about him staying here long term but more important questions remain. |
